My husband and I are VERY excited because we put in an offer on a house that we really like here in town. That was the first time that we've actually taken the next step in purchasing a house and we couldn't be happier!! We are supposed to find out today what the seller thinks of our offer so we can go from there. Although Scott and I both really like the house, we have learned that God's plan for our lives is the most important. He knows best, and if this house isn't for us, then that's ok. YYYEEAHH!! We just got the e-mail from the realtor saying that we're good to go to look at all four houses on Saturday!! I'm SO excited...buying a house is the biggest thing we've done and it's exciting that we get to get started on this fun journey together!! Score Summer Program

I'm sure many of you have heard of Score Learning Centers, in fact, if you're a parent like myself, you've probably either had your child involved with Score Learning Centers, or plan to if needed. I've been doing a lot of looking online at these centers, and I must say I am quite amazed. They seem to offer a great learning environment for the children, one where they will show significant academic progress and enjoy what they're doing. More about the House Hunt

So we're going house hunting this weekend...looking at four different houses in the area. We pretty much know what we want in a house and are hoping to find that in one of these. If we don't, then we'll keep looking, but we're thinking one of these may be the home for us. We'll have to get a better look at them and ask some questions to find out for sure. We're basically looking for something with enough bedrooms/bathrooms and space so that we could stay there for quite some time if we wanted. A big yard, and room for expansion someday is also something we'd like to find. I guess we'll see what they all have to offer and see if any of them are what we're looking for.

Curtains

When Scott and I moved into the home we're renting now...we needed curtains for a number of different rooms. No we're looking at moving into a bigger house and I'm excited because we'll get to go curtain shopping again. They're so much fun to buy because they add so much to a room. I think I will be looking at Terry's Fabrics when I'm ready to buy more ready made curtains, because their range of products is amazing! Another House

We're really excited because we found another house that we'd like to take a look at this weekend with the realtor. Loving the Weather

I am absolutely loving the weather outside today. If I wasn't so busy working in the house, I would find something to do outdoors and enjoy the day. Burn Notice

One of the hardest things about summer time is that many of my favorite shows end until next season. Although this is understandable, I always like to have a favorite show to watch during the week and am always keeping my eye out for new shows beginning that my husband and I can enjoy together. We both really like action and something that will keep us thinking...that's why USA Network's Burn Notice, the new television show airing June 28 really caught my attention. It's about a man, Michael Weston, who gets terminated or "burned" from his CIA operative job. He is confused as to why this is happening, or even who is behind it and wants to find out. Since he can't go to the people he used to trust, he needs to stay out of the lime light and figure out a different way to learn more about his burn notice. It's seems like one of those television shows that will keep us on the edge of our seats which is exactly what I like! It's hard to say what I would do if I were in Michael Weston's position. What a hard place to be in, not knowing how to find answers or what tools to utilize. I think that I would definitely try to lay low and not draw too much attention to myself. I would only put myself in the company of others whom I know can be trusted also. Since he is going back to his hometown of Miami, I would hope that there would be someone who he could trust and confide in to help him. Target

Yesterday while my husband and I were celebrating our anniversary, we went to a town about an hour away to eat at the Olive Garden, one of the best restaurants...my absolute favorite. After we were done eating, we decided to go to the Target across the street. We used to have a Target near where we lived before, but ever since we moved and don't have one so close, we never are able to go there. We had fun browsing through all the baby stuff (as we will be needing much of it in the coming months) and I also took a look at their maternity clothes. Maternity clothes are not always the easiest thing to find, because their kind of made to fit everyone....it can be hard to find something specific to your size at the time. I was lucky and found a couple of things that I had been wanting...and at Target's prices...well you can't get better than that.

Do you have children who need more help in specific subjects in school? Time Flies

We had such a great weekend. Scott got to go golfing with my dad and brother and they had a great time. We also got to attend a wedding of a good friend of mine, which was absolutely beautiful!! Beautiful Weather

Today is another beautiful day. I find it difficult to spend much time outdoors to enjoy it though, as I am always busy working on the computer or around the house. A fun date!!

My hubby is the greatest! He always finds ways to spend time with me, even when we're busy with work and life in general. His family owns all kinds of fun water toys (jet skis, boats, a pontoon, etc) and yesterday he called me up and wanted to take me on a "date" as he called it.:) He wanted to go for a pontoon ride, just me and him, and enjoy the beautiful weather and scenery together. Zoe's Here Again

Well we're excited to have Zoe here with us again for the week...she's such a sweet dog. I just love having her around...she's such great company!! It's great having a dog that's trained so well...you don't have to worry what she's going to do while you're gone...I always come home to a clean house without any messes or accidents which is wonderful. She usually just sleeps and waits for people to come back home. My mom recently told me that I pry won't ever have to get our own dog, cuz we can just borrow Zoe...and I totally agree with her. A New Home

We went to the bank today to talk with a banker about home loans and such. We weren't quite sure the steps to take, as this will be our first actual home buying experience where we're not renting. It ended up going really well and we're set to look for a new home...now we just have to find the right one.:)

Fetal Doppler

Second Ultrasound

Tomorrow is the big day!! We're going to the doctor to get our second ultrasound. Even though we've already had one, and it was so neat, we're very excited to get this second one because the baby will be much bigger and easier to see. I just found out today that we're going to be dogsitting my in-laws dog for a few days starting on Thursday. I can't believe it's already sunday and another week is about to begin. It seems like the weekends are far too short...because the days are always so full of things that have to get done. When I was teaching I remember the weeks going by quickly because I was either working or planning all the time. Although I thought this would change now that I'm at home...it really hasn't. The days still fly by, and so do the weeks and weekends. I guess we just need to enjoy every bit of it.:)

Grass is Growing

When we first moved into our home, the yard had been dug up due to some construction work that was being done. Soon after the snow was gone, the grass seed was planted. At first we weren't seeing much grass...but as it rains more and more each day...the grass is sure coming in nicely. There are still some spots that need to grow some more...but the grass makes it look like a completely different yard!! I love it!!:)

Date Night

Since Scott works a lot...we don't get to go on dates as much as we would like anymore. That's why yesterday was so nice. Scott got home a little early from work and we were able to go catch a movie and grab a bite to eat. It's so important to make time for each other and go on dates, even after you're married. We had such a nice time.:)
