Math Tutors

I grew up in a home with two brothers. I know I have heard my mother say that each of us kids are all quite different. I can see that now that I am older. We all three have different interests and personalities. While going through the school years it was evident that some subjects were easier for some and others more difficult. Math was one subject that could tend to be more difficult. Now with Score Learning Centers there is assistance for those tough subjects. There are Math Tutors to aid your child in progressing academically. No longer does it need to be a struggle for them. Look into Score and help your child succeed.

Baking Week

This week has gone by so fast. It is busy season at work for Scott so he isn't able to be home very much. He really hates that when we have just had our first baby. Kaelyn is only 1 week old. She is the sweetest. My mom has been here helping me out this week and she decided to surprise Scott and bake him up some pumpkin bars. He really likes them. That was sure nice.

Baking

I don't know about you, but for anyone who likes to bake an electric mixer is a must!! The Hamilton Beach® and Eclectrics® Mixer is the one that everyone must check out. I would especially like this mixer for preparing one of my favorite family recipes...pumpkin bars. These bars are so special to me because I grew up eating them and still do to this day!! Everyone who eats the bars just loves them...making them even better to eat and share with others. For anyone interested, the recipe is:
2C Sugar
4 eggs
3/4 C oil
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. cinn.
15 oz can pumpkin
2C flour
greased and floured bar pan
mix all ingredients and bake at 325 for 25 minutes.
It would be so nice to have a Hamilton Beach® Mixer like this over the one that I have because of all the features that it offers those who use it. Mine is very simple and does not do what this one would do. It's very powerful and would help get the job done much more quickly. November

Wow, I can't believe it's already almost mid November!! Time just goes so quickly. Before we know it, it will be Thanksgiving and then Christmas. What a fun time of year. We're especially excited that we get the chance to celebrate the holidays this year with our new daughter!! It will be so much fun. I can't wait!! I'm sure it will come very quickly and be here before we know it.

Technology

Technology is so cool these days. I can't believe how advanced everything has gotten. It seems with every year there is more and more advancements made to help make our lives a little more easy. For instance, I remember learning about fiber optic cables in college and thought that this topic was very interesting. I don't know about you, but even for someone like me who isn't always very knowledgeable about technology...I love learning about new things and ways that it can help us in our day to day lives.
