Our Daughter

As we have more and more time with our daughter, we get to know her little personality more and more. We also get to admire all her little features on her face...which is so much fun!! We've learned that she has a dimple on one cheek and that she has the CUTEST facial expressions that she makes with her lips!! I just love watching her!! I knew I'd love having a baby...but the joy that she brings both Scott and I is just incredible.

Lots of Company

This weekend was sure busy. I can't believe that it's already here and gone. Time went so quickly because we were not only busy with Kaelyn...but also had company stopping by. It's really nice that people have wanted to come see Kaelyn....she has been getting so spoiled with love and attention! It's such a fun time. It's been hard for me to get out much so it's nice that people have been able to stop by off and on.

Self Defense Products

In today's world there is the concern for our personal safety. Now that I have a child besides I think I'll be looking into some of the self defense products that are out there. They have all kinds of things for adults and now there are even products for children's protection. My Grammy recently gave me a signal transmitter that a child can wear. When the child travels more then 30 feet away I would be aware of it. It sets off a beep as a warning. It is also very cute and child friendly. I'm going to have to give it a try.

What a nice week

It's sure been a nice week having my parents here to help out with things. Kaelyn and I came home from the hospital a week ago today. She's been such a wonderful baby, but has kept me very busy...so it was nice having them here to help with the cleaning, baking and even taking care of Kaelyn some. I'm going to be kinda bummed when they leave today...as then it is just me here to do most everything since Scott is in his busy season of work. I know that they have to get going though, and understand that they have jobs to get back to and a grandson to see down in Texas soon. :) They'll be back soon to visit I'm sure....so that's good!!
