Merry Christmas

Last night we had Christmas at my Mom's house, it was a great time. We were able to see all of my family and spend time with them. We did get a gift certificate to Kohl's from my grandma and grandpa, they sure are generous to us. It was a great night.

Is it already monday tomorrow??!?

Gosh, is it Sunday already?!? I love Sundays because I get to go to church and relax...but all I can ever think about is how work is tomorrow!! I do love my job....but my weekends go so quickly! And, even when I'm not at work, I'm doing things for work at home. I wish the weekends would slow down just a little so I could get more things done. Things like baking, cleaning, and spending time with my wonderful husband! Oh well, soon there will be another weekend:)

Thank Goodness It's Friday!

Finally!! This week has gone so slow with all the working that I've been doing lately....I'm SO glad that it's friday! I don't have any big plans for the weekend, but am looking forward to relaxing and getting some things done around the house....like sending out Christmas cards, baking cookies, etc! I'm looking forward to the weekend so that I can get refreshed for the work week ahead.

Wow This Weekend Flew!

What a great weekend, but man it went fast. Yesterday I had to work 9-1 and then went Christmas shopping with Jenna and her parents, to finish out the night we went to the Olive Garden for Jenna's mom's birthday. Today we went to church, followed by an afternoon of football, where did the weekend go.

What a sucky day!

Today was such as sucky day! It started off great but as the day went on I started get more and more bad new. First a customers phone that I sold them, I lied to them. I said that their phone came with some programs that it didn't, so I had to find a way to correct that. Then when I thought that I was done with work I found out that I was scheduled to work in another store until 7 pm. Talk about getting your hopes up. I can't wait until this day is over.

What a great Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was great this year, we were able to get together with both sides of our family. My Dad's fiance and her dad came up from Georgia, they were able to get the whole Gaskill Family together for the first time since my grandparents died. What a great time.

Got My Audiovox 6700

I finally got my Audiovox 6700 PDA Cellphone. It is suppose to be a christmas present from my Mom, but that's final because I got a great deal on it. I am just amazed at home much it can do, with WiFi, Contact List, Calendar, Microsoft Word, Exel, and PowerPoint. It's awesome.

I'm In the Hunt

I started off the fantasy football season with a bad record, I have rattled of 3 wins in a row and am back in the hunt for the playoffs. This has come from great games from Payton Manning, and Willie Parker. They have just been tearing it up in this league. I still have a couple more weeks, I just hope that all my guys can pull together and finish the season strong.

Is it Thanksgiving yet?

I am getting so excited for Thanksgiving! I need a break from work, even if it's only a day or two! It will also be so nice to see family. Some of the family that we're going to be seeing haven't been around in quite a while. It's probably been about two years since we've seen some of them...so it will be a blast! I'm sure we'll eat lots of food, play lots of games, and have lots of laughs! I can't wait!

When Is My Job Coming?

I am waiting to hear from this company to see if I get a third and final interview. It has been a really slow process, my first interview was at the end of July, my second interview was at the begining of October, so at this rate I shouldn't hear anything for another 2 months. I get so frustrated when I think about how long it has taken, what could take so long to fill one position? I just hope I hear some time soon.

Sally is Great!

Sally is the name that we gave Jenna's phone, because of the voice that VZ Navigator had. Sally gave us directions to WalMart in Louisville, KY when we didn't know where it was, that is when we knew how awesome VZ Navigators really is. I know we will never go on another trip without it.

Kinda Bummed!

Well, the weather didn't turn out to be as nice as we had hoped. We're here...and although much nicer than Iowa...it's still way to cold to be outside for very long. There's hardly anyone on the beaches, and there's no one going to the waterpark. To us, temps in the 60s is pretty nice, but to people here, I guess it's freezing because most people are in long sleeves and pants. Oh well, it's still going to be such a nice break from work and all the stresses back home. We'll have lots of fun!

We're Here!

We finally made it to Myrtle Beach! We left yesterday and made it here at 3:00 this afternoon. Today is Jenna's birthday so we are going to try and go out to eat some place nice tonight. Today the weather is very nice, we were told that it was in the upper 70's, I hope it's like that the rest of the time we are here.

Weather Not Looking Good for Myrtle Beach

I've been watching the weather for Myrtle Beach and I can say that it's not looking good. It's suppose to be in the upper 50's to lower 60's for most of the week. That weather won't be bad for golfing but it's not going to be fun to lay out on the beach. I hope the weather reporters are wrong.

Worry Worry Worry

I am so worried that I am going to get a phone call for an interview while I'm on vacation. It would be the third and final interview for this job, I don't want my family to be mad if I can't go because of my job. I want a job so bad, I want to start the next stage of my life. I hope it comes soon.

Who's it going to be?

Our fantasy football league is so balanced, other than Keith, it is unbelievable. There are 8 teams in the league and 7 of them are really battling for the 4 playoff positions. You really couldn't ask for anything better. Who's going to slip and who's going to step up. Stick around and see.

2 Weeks to Myrtle Beach

We have 2 weeks until we leave for a week vacation to Myrtle Beach, SC. I am so excited to relax for a week with my family. Although I'm not looking forward to driving we have to do on the trip. It will be are second time there, our first time was on our honeymoon a little over a year ago. I can't wait!

Fantasy Football

I suck at fantasy football. I am 1-3 in my fantasy football league, I don't understand it, I have Payton Manning, how can I lose. I know that it is all about guessing on which player is going to have a good game, but I want to be doing better. Let's Go!

Waiting For My Career!

It's been 6 months since my first interview with a Pharmaceutical Company. Man, I didn't know that it would be so hard to get a job in this industry. I have interviewed with 3 different companies and all of them said that I don't have enough experience since I have just graduated college. We'll keep praying that my job comes soon.

Football is Finally Here!

I am so excited that football is finally here. I got involved in this yahoo fantasy football league, with some friends, I have a pretty good team this year and should have a good chance. I have already found myself spending hours trying to put together the best team possible. This should be a great season!

Missing School

It's weird that I am sitting here at my job while others are in school. Since I don't have my career job I feel like I have failed to some extent. When talking to other people I graduated with and hearing about their jobs, and GA positions, it makes me feel like I haven't met my full potential. I know my job is coming I just need to keep the faith and pray.

Test of Faith

I have had a total of 5 interviews with 3 different companies and nothing. This has been a big test of faith in God to provide. The job that I have now isn't the best paying but by the grace of God we are able to live comfortable enough for us. I feel that God provides because we are faithful to him by tithing from every pay check that we receive. Thank you God!

My Birthdays in 3 Days!

Tonight we will be heading home to have supper in Mason City with my Dad and Kim. My Dad is taking us out for both of our birthdays. Kim's is on the 26th and mine is on the 27th, it should be a good time. I also get to go golfing with Bill on my birthday, that should be fun as well.

I Can't Wait for the Football Season

Out of every sport there is I would have to say that football is my favorite. I count down the days until the season starts because it's the best sport ever! I don't like the fact that down here is Cedar Falls FOX shows the Chicago Bears games. I liked it back home when every game on FOX was the Minnesota Vikings. I really miss that.

Busy Month

August is going to be a busy month. My Dad, Sister, and I all have birthdays this month, plus I want to get as much golfing in as I can before school starts and I'm stuck working the day shift everyday. I need to get some golf in before the Reed golf outing on the 19th. I want to win this year so I can get the cash prize that my grandparents give. I can't wait.
