Acne Treatment

Recently Scott and I were watching TV and an acne treatment commercial came on. He commented on the fact that there are many commercials like this on TV these days. It seems that they all promise to give you the same results, but how does one choose the best one for them? It seems like it would be hard. I know I wouldn't know where to start if I were in the situation where I needed acne medication. I suppose I would probably look into more natural forms of treating acne if I had to. How about you?

Getting Nicer

I really enjoyed waking up this morning to the site of sun shining through my windows. It's been so gloomy and cold the past few days, that this was a nice surprise. I was hoping that it would actually get warm enough for Kaelyn and I to go on a walk, but it doesn't look like it's going to. It's 50 degrees and the sun is shining, but the wind is still blowing quite a bit. Hopefully tomorrow we'll be able to. We both enjoy doing things like that during the day.

Air Purifier

Last August my husband and I bought a house. After living here for a while we noticed that the basement had kind of a musty smell. Nothing too bad, but something that we wanted to take care of quickly. We did some research on air purifiers and found a really nice one that works well. It seems to have helped a lot. We've even used it in other rooms. The thing I like about it is that you don't have to pay for expensive refills and it's not really loud.

Yummy Supper

Last night Scott was in the mood for Enchiladas. He knows this is my favorite meal of all time...so of course I'm going to agree to helping him make it. It didn't take long, and soon we were sitting down to our yummy supper!! We ran out of the enchilada sauce that we can't seem to find anywhere else besides in the town where my parents live...so Scott went out searching for something similar. He found something that tasted a little different...but close enough to make it a very good meal! Yum!!

Having a schedule

It's been so nice having Kaelyn on more of a set schedule. It took us a while, but we finally know when she's going to nap during the day and when she'll need to eat. Before it was really hard for us to go anywhere, because we just never knew when she'd need to eat or when she would be getting sleepy. Now, however....we have learned her schedule...which makes it a lot easier to plan things and go out and do things. It also has helped that she's not sleeping as often during the day...having three naps has made things easier as well.

Spring is here and I will be spending a lot of time at the lake. I am in the market for a new pair of sandals to wear at the lake. With so many to choose from, I don't want to spend all that time traveling from store to store just for a pair of sandals. At Naot, they have many different styles of shoes and sandals. I love the fact that I can shop online and then have them shipped to me. Now all I have to do is find a pair I like.

Marketing

My husband and his family are in business together. They're always looking for new ways to to market their business and get more customers. I think it's great and keep my eye out for new ideas. One way that I recently came across is digital signage. This is a good way to engage new people. I really think this is going to be the new big thing and something that many people are going to take advantage of. I am going to share this idea with them and see what they think.

My husband and I were watching television the other night and realized how many commercials there are for acne treatments. House Work

This weekend Scott and I were talking about all the fun things we'd like to do with our home someday. Definitely one of the things that we'd like to do at some point is get new siding and new vinyl shutters. It would really make a huge difference in the appearance of our home and would add a lot of value to it too. I'm looking forward to the time when we can do this...as my dad said that we would be able to help some too. It won't be for a while, but at least we know we will have help when the time comes.

Health Insurance

I am so thankful that we are able to get such great health insurance through Scott's job. I used to have health insurance through my employer while I was teaching, but it wasn't nearly as good as it is now. When we had Kaelyn we had the opportunity to see just how good it is. They cover almost 100% of everything!! We do pay a bit to have it, but in the long run it's well worth it!

Vacation Deals

It's been quite a while since were able to go on a vacation. We often talk about the fun places that we'd like to go with our kids one day. We even talk about the places that we could go with Kaelyn next summer...like a Zoo or something maybe??! Where ever it is, I know that we're going to do our best to search around for the best vacation deals!! It's important to us to find fun places to go, while also saving money where we can! The nice thing is that the internet can be a very good place to look for great deals.

New Bed

At some point my husband and I will be looking to get a new bed for one of our spare rooms. We have the air kind of beds right now, but were actually thinking that it would be fun to look at a memory foam mattress next. I am not saying we're going to buy this type of bed...but when we are in the market, it would be nice to check out all of our options. I think a bed like this would be very comfortable and I have heard very good things about them. It never hurts to look I guess, right?!
