Insurance

Insurance is something that many of us have had to deal with. Whether it be auto insurance, term life insurance, home insurance, health insurance, or something else....it affects everyone in some form. I know some people don't like paying insurance because at times it can feel like a financial burden. If you start to feel this way, it's important to remember that you are paying to ensure that if anything big were to ever happen, that you would have some coverage. Imagine if you didn't have insurance and something happened...yikes!

Progesterone Cream

Did you know that progesterone creme actually helps to prevent PMS symptoms? I really had no ideaprogesterone cream could help women with that, plus help with menopause and other things that we women have to go through. From the sounds of it, there is a limit that can be sold over the counter, otherwise women need to get a prescription. Either way, it might be something that some you of you would be interested in looking into?!

You've Got Mail

I was really happy yesterday because my brother and his wife sent us a package in the mail. I just love getting packages.:) In it there were the curtains that Diana had made for the baby's nursery. They look so adorable in there. They are so much nicer than I could have ever imagined. She did such a great job!! They also sent a really neat Noah's Ark musical piece which I have sitting on the dresser. I just love it! It fits in with the rooms theme and colors so well.

Have you ever heard of Ashop Commerce before? They are the US leader when it comes to providing shopping cart software. If you're running your own business, or considering starting up one...you should definitely consider Ashop Commerce to help you get started. It's a great way for merchants to start selling online and increase their revenue. I can't think of a better way to get your own website set up to start selling to your customers. Can you?!! I don't know about you, but in my opinion this is a great option for any business. Dr Appointment

I always enjoy going to my OB appointments. Tomorrow I have my 36 week appointment and I'm looking forward to it. They typically only last between 5-10 minutes, but it's still always nice to meet up with the doctor...talk about how things are going...and of course, getting to listen to the heartbeat is amazing each and every time!! Starting this week I'm going to the doctor every week until I have the baby...so I have a feeling I will feel like that is my home away from home over the next 4 weeks...haha.

Only 35 more days until Baby Gaskill arrives!! What an exciting time that will be. It's crazy to think that it's coming up that soon...I still feel like there's so much to do to prepare for his/her arrival. I think that's part of the nesting phase of pregnancy, but I also think it's practical to want everything ready for when the baby comes home. Hopefully by that point we will feel like we're pretty much set for the things we need.

Making Money Online

I typically try not to do much blogging or work on the computer over the weekends...but with Scott working all of the time right now...I find that I might as well make some extra money too. I guess I don't mind it. I'd much rather be blogging or making money, than sitting around doing nothing, or than cleaning the house.:)

Regency

I have known many people who are looking for the perfect beauty school to attend. Now I know what to tell them....Regency. Regency schools were founded more than 50 years ago and have expanded to 30 campuses in nine states!! They continue to grow, and are actually the fastest growing beauty school in the country!! If you're looking for an educational experience in cosmetology and hair school, one that is high-quality and will put you above the rest...then you should really consider Regency. They are known for their great faculty and placement after one graduates. You can find those who went to Regency in places like salons and even cruise ships. Check them out today and see if Regency is right for you.

Baby Shower

I'm looking forward to next weekend already, and it's only Sunday! I can't wait...because I am having my baby shower next Saturday. I haven't had one yet, so I'm pretty excited. It's going to be Scott's family, and my family combined...so the turn out should be pretty good. I'm just excited to get everyone together...it will be a good time. Hopefully this week goes by quickly so that it comes fast!

Once-a-week Appointments

This is the week when I start going to the doctor every week until the baby is born. I thought that the two week appointments came pretty quickly, but now I will feel like I am at the doctor's office quite a bit, going every week. Oh well. I actually don't mind going. It's always fun to get to talk with the doctor about what's going on with the baby, as well as hear the heart beat...I think that's my favorite part.:)

A.E. Feldman Associates

I recently learned of a firm called A.E. Feldman Associates, who are part of the recruiting field and helping to bring job candidates and clients together. These headhunters have been around since 1967 and are known for their successful placements and experienced and knowledgeable staff. The recruiters for A.E. Feldman Associates are so successful, because they've already had careers in the industry and know what to look for. They truly find the best matches for both sides of the employment equation which I think is so wonderful! If you'd like to learn more about them and how they could possibly help you, check out their site and see what you think.

A company that you may be interested in checking out is Halogen. They offer Halogen eSuccession which is a really great software program that make it easy for you to have a succession planning program started. It makes feedback and performance reporting very simple. If you want to learn more, check out their site today.

Long Lines

Since I've been pregnant, I have stood in line at many reception desks at the hospital. I normally don't mind waiting, but recently, with the baby getting bigger and bigger, I notice that it's harder for me to stand and wait for long periods of time. It seems that the earlier I go in the day, the fewer people that I have to stand in line behind. I'm planning on making more of my appointments in the morning so I don't have to fight the crowd so much in the afternoons.

Orlando

I think it would be so great to bring our family to Orlando someday. They just have so much to do there. I even think it would be fun to get an orlando vacation home rental. Doesn't that sound great?!! I know that when we're ready to do something like that, Orlando.com will be the place to go. They have all kinds of information and offerings on hotels, car rentals, flights...as well as on the things you can do in Orlando as far as dining and entertainment goes. What I like best is that it's all offered on one site! That makes it much easier for me to plan a trip. If you're like me and love Orlando, check out this site today!

M&M's

I was just telling Scott how I was really craving some chocolate! For some reason, that is really something that I have been wanting recently. We don't keep a lot of chocolate or junk food around the house, so unfortunately we didn't have any. When he went out to get gas in the car, he remembered that I was wanting some chocolate and surprised me with a bag of M & M's !!:)

Anglian

Home improvement is something that many of us homeowners face at some point or another. Having just bought our home...we haven't done too much yet. But I know that my parents, who have lived in there home for many years, have made all kinds of home improvements to their home. It makes the house more up to date and really brings up the value as well. UK homeowners recognize Anglian as being the place to go for quality when it comes to home improvements. It doesn't matter if you're looking at doors, windows, conservatories...they have what you're looking for! Anglian can give you those updates as well as bring up the value of your home. It's amazing what even the smallest home improvements can do!! If you are thinking about doing some home improvements to your own place, and you live in the UK...you should definitely check out Anglian. They really do have a lot to offer. I was very impressed with their site.

Almost 35 weeks

I can't believe that we're nearing our 35th week of pregnancy already!! The time has just flown by so quickly!! It seems like just yesterday we were finding out that we were pregnant, and now...only about 5 weeks to go!! I'm sure hoping that these 5 weeks go by quickly...as we're VERY excited to meet our little one. We've chosen to keep the sex of the baby a surprise, which has made it even more exciting.:)

Drug Rehabilitation

Have you, or someone you know ever been in the situation where you're looking for a drug rehabilitation program? I have never been in this situation, but know that it can be a very difficult decision to make. Finding a drug rehabilitation program that is right for you is very important in your step towards recovery. It's important to look around and find the right one. If you haven't already, you should check out Cliffside Malibu. They may be what you, or someone you know has been looking for.

Restaurant Supplies

Mission Restaurant Supply is a great place to go if you're someone looking to start up your own business of owning a restaurant. They offer quality supplies and equipment needed for your restaurant, and they offer them at outstanding prices!! They want to help you get your business up and running. That's why they have thousands of Restaurant Supplies on hand and in stock. This way you are able to get your items that you need on demand and with no hassle. If for some reason you don't find what you need, you can call them, and they will make sure to find whatever it is you're looking for. That's how dedicated they are to you and your business. Check them out today and see what you think.

Finally got em'

I had been waiting for my baskets for the nursery to come in the mail for quite some time now. I finally got them yesterday and think that they are so cute. Ever since we got the baby's changing table, I have been wanting some sort of baskets to put on the shelves to put things like diapers, lotions, etc in! I think these three baskets will work out great!!

Scott's Job

Last night Scott got off work at a descent time because of all the rain that we've been getting. It's nice when we have some rainy days like that, because then his busy season isn't so bad or so long for him. It was nice to have him home early, because we had to make a trip to Target for some things we needed. Target isn't too far away, but far enough where I wasn't wild about going by myself if I didn't have to. It was nice getting to spend the evening with him. I hope that we have more days like that throughout this busy season!

Online University

I've always wondered how people who have really demanding occupations like being a fire fighter, policeman, someone in the military, etc. have time to further their education if they want?! Well, now I know, and I wanted to share it with all of you. Columbia Southern University is one of the nation's first completely online universities. The fact that it's completely an online university makes it easier for people with demanding jobs to still further their education if they want to. Another great thing about this university is that they have degree programs that fit around your work schedule. Isn't that great?! If you're someone with a demanding occupation, and want to get an associate, bachelor or graduate degree, then you should definitely check this school out.

Airline Controversy

I'm sure by now many of you have heard the controversy going on between Southwest Airlines and the young lady who was asked to leave the plane due to her apparel. I had only just heard of this situation within the past few days, and then watched a bit about it on Dr. Phil today. I was surprised to find out that this young lady was still going to sue the airline, even after receiving free airline tickets and a very nice apology. I have to agree with Dr. Phil, that there's a time when she needs to move on and not drag this out any longer. It's not about getting a big "paycheck" but about getting the apology and respect that she deserved.

Busy, Busy

I feel like there's so much work to be done around the house, and yet I can't seem to pull myself away from the computer. I've been so busy doing work on the computer today, that I didn't even realize that it's half way through the afternoon already! Wow!! I really need to get busy doing the laundry and other chores around the house. Maybe I'll have time to blog more later.

Krillion

With summer just coming to an end, I'm sure there are many people out there who recently have had to replace their refrigerator or air conditioner. Why you ask? Well, during the summer time appliances like these have to work so much harder to keep things cool. Sometimes they work too hard and break down. This is probably the hardest time of year on appliances like these. Since it can be pretty spendy to repair such appliances, many go out and buy new ones. The things is, sometimes it can be such a pain to go out and look through store after store to find what you're looking for. Ya know?! That's where Krillion can help. Krillion is a localized search engine that give local search results with specific product information for the items you're looking for. So, if you're looking for a new appliance, maybe even at Kenmore Dishwashers, then you should definitely check them out.

Chili in the crock pot

Scott really enjoys it when I make chili in the crock pot. He's been asking me for a while to make it one of these nights, so I decided to do that today. Making things like Chili in the crock pot is so nice. It's so easy, and then supper is ready whenever you're ready to eat. It's nice, especially during this time of year when Scott works late, because there's no certain time that we have to eat. The chili will just warm until we're ready to eat supper. I think he'll be pleasantly surprised when he gets home tonight and sees that I finally made it.

Payday Loan

Have you ever heard of getting a Pay Day Loan before? I sure have, and I know that they are a great way to get an advance on your pay check in case of an emergency of some kind. What a great option that is not provided online for us to take advantage of when needed. I recently came across a great site that makes it easy and hassle free to get a payday loan and wanted to share the information I found with you. It's so easy to apply for a payday loan and get fast and convenient processing online. How does that sound? Wouldn't you like to be able to get your payday loan processed instantly? I know I would!! That's why, the next time I need a payday loan I will definitely go to this site! I also like the fact that there aren't any application fees. The people involved in helping you get a payday loan are simply there to help you! Not to make money off of you. Check them out and see what you think.

Hungry

I've been so busy working on the computer that I didn't even realize how late it was getting. I really need to get some lunch and then get some supper in the crock pot. I may have to finish blogging later when I have more time. It seems that there is never enough time in a day to get everything done around the house that needs to be. Oh well, I guess that's the way it goes. I'll have time tonight to finish blogging hopefully.

BadCreditOffers.com

BadCreditOffers.com is a new consumer resource that has information on credit cards, mortgages, loans and so much more for people with bad credit ratings. I really liked this site because it's one that many people will be able to take advantage of. They will be able to utilize the different resources on this site and hopefully get better credit. Using this site, you can actually compare credit cards to find the one that's best for you. No more applying for the ones that come in the mail with all the fine print that you don't understand. This makes it easy! I was really impressed with all this site had to offer, and I believe you will be as well. Check them out and see what you think.

Baby Mobile

I am so excited have gotten my mobile in the mail yesterday. Last night when Scott got home from work he helped me get it together and put on the crib. It is so cute. It plays the neatest lullaby and is just so fun to look at from the baby's point of view. I love the plush animals and the music. I think the baby will enjoy it also. It's also quite colorful, so that is another plus to having the mobile that I chose.

Nursery Theme

Scott and I have always known that we wanted to a Noah's Ark theme for our nursery. Over the past nine months or so, we've been gathering items here and there to get the nursery ready for our baby's arrival next month. We have all sorts of cute things to hang on the wall and set around the room. One of the things I don't have much of in there, and would like more of, are stuffed animals. Since we're doing the Noah's Ark theme...it only makes sense to have lots of animals in there. Kids love stuffed animals...so down the line we'll have to get more of them for the nursery.

Invitations

My hubby's Aunts are so sweet!! They are going to a lot of work to put on a baby shower for us at the end of this month. We went to supper with one of his Aunts the other night and she brought along one of the baby invitations that they're sending out. I just thought they were adorable! She went to so much work to get them put together and ready to mail. There's a clothes line at the top of them and then she taped on little pieces of baby clothing. It's hard to explain, but it was just adorable! She is really good at this kind of thing. I know that she does birthday invitations, graduation invitations, and bridal shower invitations as well.

Jewelry Talk

How many of you out there enjoy getting jewelry?? I know I do. It's probably one of my favorite things to get from my hubby especially!! I just love jewelry because there's so much variety out there. Like with my wedding ring. Scott did a great job picking out my solitaire, and then we went together to pick out a very unique and beautiful band that was one of a kind. It's so fun to find things that are different and not something you see around every day. I would have to say rings are probably my favorite piece of jewelry, but I also enjoy necklaces and earrings as well. Bracelets...well I don't have many of those...but I'm sure I'd enjoy wearing them too!

A Friday Night Out

Scott had to work a little while yesterday, but after he got off work we had such a nice evening. His aunt and uncle, who actually live down the street from us, invited us to go out to dinner with them at a really yummy restaurant that has lots of great food. We'd never been there before...but Scott and I both loved the food. Scott got a steak that he said was cooked to perfection, and I got some sort of an herb-breaded chicken which was wonderful! It was so nice of them to invite us to go out with them...they're really fun people to be around.

Acunetix

If you have a website, you may want to know that you can now protect it from the threat of cross site scripting. Have you ever heard of Acunetix before? They announced that they have a free edition of their web vulnerability scanner available for companies who want to check to see if there are cross site scripting vulnerabilities on their sites. This free edition is exactly that...FREE!! Isn't that great?!! You can learn more and Download Your Free Acunetix XSS Scanner at http://www.acunetix.com/cross-site-scripting/scanner.htm. Learn more on their site today. This is a paid post.

The following is the press release:
What is Cross Site Scripting?
Cross Site Scripting allows an attacker to embed malicious JavaScript, VBScript, ActiveX, HTML, or Flash into a vulnerable dynamic page to fool the user, executing the script on his machine in order to gather data. The use of XSS might compromise private information, manipulate or steal cookies, create requests that can be mistaken for those of a valid user, or execute malicious code on the end-user systems. The data is usually formatted as a hyperlink containing malicious content and which is distributed over any possible means on the internet. Cross site scripting vulnerabilities are extremely dangerous and the number of the attacks is on the rise. More information about Cross Site Scripting can be found at http://www.acunetix.com/websitesecurity/cross-site-scripting.htm

Many a large-scale corporation has fallen prey to Cross Site Scripting (XSS), as it is one of the most common yet underestimated of web attacks. In August 2006, hackers stole the personal data of nearly 19,000 DSL equipment customers through a vulnerability in AT&T’s online store. Whereas in June 2006, PayPal users were tricked into giving away social security numbers, credit card details and other highly sensitive personal information through a cross site scripting vulnerability in the PayPal website.

A report from Mitre Corp., a US government funded research organization, issued in September 2006 indicated that Cross-Site scripting ranked first in a list of top security risks. In a study conducted by Acunetix, 42% of the websites scanned with Acunetix WVS were found to be vulnerable to Cross Site Scripting.

“Companies don’t realize the danger their web sites are under and are therefore reluctant to invest in web vulnerability scanners. Consequently, security officers don’t have the tools to protect their websites. The free XSS scanner will give security officers access to a professional cross site scanning tool, that will allow them to assess their web sites for the cross site scripting danger,” said Jonathan Spiteri, Technical Manager of Acunetix.

Scanning for XSS vulnerabilities with Acunetix WVS Free Edition
To check whether your website has cross site scripting vulnerabilities, download the free edition from http://www.acunetix.com/cross-site-scripting/scanner.htm. This version will scan any website / web application for XSS vulnerabilities and it will also reveal all the essential information related to it, such as the vulnerability location and remediation techniques. Scanning for XSS is normally a quick exercise (depending on the size of the web-site). A detailed guide how to scan for cross site scripting vulnerabilities can be found here http://www.acunetix.com/websitesecurity/xss.htm.

The Free Edition also allows you to sample what other threats Acunetix WVS can find by allowing you to scan the Acunetix test sites for vulnerabilities.

About Acunetix Web Vulnerability Scanner
Acunetix Web Vulnerability Scanner ensures website security by automatically checking for SQL injection, Cross site scripting and other vulnerabilities. It checks password strength on authentication pages and automatically audits shopping carts, forms, dynamic content and other web applications. As the scan is being completed, the software produces detailed reports that pinpoint where vulnerabilities exist. Acunetix WVS Reporting Application allows security alerts to be presented in a document which abides by the PCI Compliance specification.

About Acunetix
Acunetix was founded to combat the alarming rise in web attacks. Its flagship product, Acunetix Web Vulnerability Scanner, is the result of several years of development by a team of highly experienced security developers. Acunetix is a privately held company with headquarters based in Europe (Malta) and an office in London, UK. For more information about Acunetix, visit: http://www.acunetix.com; http://www.acunetix.de.

Finally Home

Scott ended up working a bit longer than he had expected today, but at least he still got off much earlier than he normally does during the week. There's so much that needs to be done around the house before the baby comes...but I can tell that he needs some rest before he gets started on any of it. Poor guy has worked 7 days straight...I don't blame him for being exhausted! Maybe we can get some of it done later tonight or something.

Transient Key

Did you know that many businesses these days have problems with people tampering with records and inserting fake timestamps? I really didn't know how big of a problem this was until I read about it recently. It sounds like the problem has become quite the issue, and is only becoming bigger. It's come to the point where companies are actually being told by the courts that they can't submit their own records in case they have have tampered with their own information in an effort to make themselves look good. Since this is a problem on the rise, it's only natural that someone would come up with an idea to help solve it and that's exactly what happened. Transient Key Cryptography is a new approach to this problem, from the company ProofSpace. It helps authenticate date and timestamping to better help companies prove that they haven't messed with their records. It's really quite the new technology, and really sparked my interest. If you'd like to learn more about this technology and more about how it works you can check out their site. Take a look and see what you think.

Only 6 more weeks

I can't believe there is only 6 weeks left until the due date of our baby! Time has just flown by!! You might be thinking, well, 6 weeks still sounds like a long time...but to me it sounds like nothing compared to telling people that we have 40 weeks left like we did in the beginning. The weeks are just going by so quickly. I can't wait until the end of next month when our baby will actually be here with us. He/she is moving around a lot these days...and ready to come out.

LAP-BAND

I'm sure many of you have heard of Journey Lite, as they are known for their surgical facilities and experienced surgeons that work to help provide you with the safest weigh-loss surgery out there today. They specialize in the LAP-BAND system. Many of you may have heard of this procedure, because it's becoming more and more popular among the people around us. It's where an inflatable gastric band is placed around the top of the stomach. It helps the person to feel full more quickly and to eat less...hence, helping them to lose weight. I'm very intrigued with this type of surgery, and am always wanting to learn more. If you're like me, then please check Tampa lap band surgery today.

Where has the time gone?

Can you believe there's only a couple of weeks left in September? Wow! I have a desk calendar in front of my computer, and I was looking at it this morning, wondering "where did the time go?" I feel like just yesterday I was writing about August coming to an end...and now, soon I'll be writing about September coming to an end. The weeks just seem to fly by. Normally I'd want them to slow down just a bit, but with our baby on the way in just a short number of weeks...I'm really glad that time is going so quickly.

Old teapots and china

When Scott and I got married I received a really neat old teapot from one of my mom's Aunt's as a gift. At the time I did not have any teapots, but thought this one was really neat and special. This past year, my mom gave me another teapot to add to my small collection. She was given this teapot from her mom, and her mom had it passed down to her. The other day my mom bought a set of really neat, old dishes at an estate sale. She gave me the teapot from that set, so now it's a set of three. I also have a few tea cups and some other china that is still boxed up at my mom's house. Someday I hope to have a neat place to display this collection.

Be your own boss

Would you like to be your own boss? Sure, we all would right?! You can set your own hours and even do much of your work from the comfort of your own home. No bosses telling you what to do or when to work...how nice would that be?! If this sounds like something you'd be interested in, then you may want to learn more about vendstar, a bulk candy vending machine manufacturer in the US. Working for Vendstar will not only give you the chance to be your own boss, but also to know what it feels like to have financial freedom. You can do this by owning your own vending business. If you're like me and like to be your own boss, then Vendstar might be just what you've been looking for. Check them out and see what you think.

Out to eat

Last night was nice. My hubby came home from work and asked me if I'd like to go out to eat. We hardly ever go out...so it had been a while and I thought it sounded like a good idea. I had been saying how Perkins sounded so good lately, so that's where we went. I know, I know....you're probably thinking, Perkins?! I don't know why, but I was just wanting some of their breakfast food so that's what we got. It was so good!! I'm glad we were able to take the evening and go there.

Have a great weekend!

My parents are pretty excited about their trip down to see my little brother today. They were gonna do a little shopping and go golfing...something my dad and brother really enjoy doing! My mom has never golfed before, but is going to give it a whirl and go out there and golf for the first time. I really hope that she enjoys it...as it's a fun game once you get the hang of it. I hope they have a wonderful weekend!

Monaco Rare Coin

Are you someone who loves rare coins? If so, then you should know about Monaco Rare Coin, a part of the Monex company, a very well known place to find all of the precious gold and silver that you'd like to invest in. It's really amazing how many people Monex has helped. These investments include not only gold and silver, but also platinum bullion and bullion coins. Monaco is really neat too, as they are a great rare coin dealer. They want to help you find the rare coins that you are looking for, and those that will fit your budget. If you're interested in learning more about Monaco, you should really check out the site. I think you'll be very impressed with all that you find there.

Long Days

Poor Scott...during this time of year he has to work so much. It's busy season, so sometimes he works 7 days a week, all day! He's working for a little bit today, but plans to have tomorrow off which is nice. It's going to continue to get busier and busier though, so I'm glad we got much of what we needed to get done around the house already, before the baby comes next month. I just hope that with all of this work, he continues to get his rest. It's tough in his line of work during this time of year, because he goes into work before the sun comes up, and gets home after the sun goes down. It makes for a long day!!

Changes in the weather

It's weird how fast the weather can change. Last week I was writing about how hot and humid it was out, and now this week I've been writing about how cold it's been. It didn't just cool down a little...it went from temps in the 70's and 80's down to freezing temps last night. In fact, the weather man was encouraging everyone to take in their plants for the night. I woke up this morning and our thermostat says it's 64 degrees in the house...burr!! I do like it when it's a little chilly like this...it's always easier to put on layers of clothes and wrap up in a blanket rather than being really hot. From the sounds of it, next week is supposed to be back up into the 80's. It's just so weird how the weather changes so quickly.

Thinkflorida.co.uk

If you're familiar with Florida, then you've probably heard of Lowery's...a Sales and Rental company located in the UK and Kissimee, Florida. They deal with the sale and rental of property in Florida. I really love the fact that they have have a site where vacationers and tourists can find all the information they're looking for all in one place. This is, Thinkflorida.co.uk. Here you will find information on car rental services, ticket services, condo's, even information on an Orlando Holiday Villa...the list goes on and on. If you're interested in visiting Florida, I definitely recommend you check out this site before you go. See what you think!

Craft Show this weekend

My husband came home last night and told me that he heard our town was having their annual craft show. I am super excited that it starts tomorrow and goes all the way through Sunday!! I don't know about you, but shopping for crafts is one of my favorite things to do!! They usually have super cute stuff...at great prices. I'm hoping I can find a few things. Most years I'm able to go with my mom to craft shows, but this weekend she will be out of town. She has a few things that she wants me to keep an eye out for though, so hopefully I can find us both some neat things.:)

Black Friday Shopping

If you're like me, then you totally know how important it is to make sure that you have time to shop the day of Black Friday. I never used to be big into shopping on this day until one year my mom and I went and saw what great deals we could find for Christmas shopping. Ever since then, both of us have vowed that we will not have a Thanksgiving get together on that day from now on....that's our day to shop. The one thing about Black Friday though, is that everyone likes to shop that day as well. It makes for very crowded stores and long, long lines. I'd much rather take that day and shop from my own home online. Wondering how I might be able to do this? Well, I recently came across a Black Friday website that allows people to get the Black Friday savings, without having to hassle the crowds of people. The coolest thing is that they'll even send you ads to your e-mail when new black friday ads come out. I thought that was just terrific!! I'm planning on trying this this year, and finding walmart deals is my top priority. You should check it out too! Check out their site and learn more about cyber monday and all the money you can save.

Stuck at the computer

In between blogging and doing bills online, I have been trying to do some of the house cleaning that needs to be done. Tonight I won't have time to do it because I'm going to meet my parents for supper. I'm going to have to get off the computer soon so that I can get everything done before it's time to head out. Hopefully I can get myself to do that. We'll have to see I guess.

Diamond Ring

Like many girls out there, I love diamonds. Jewelry is one of my favorite accessories...and who doesn't like some diamonds?! I remember Scott telling me that when he and my mom were out looking for diamond rings, he learned so much. My mom is very knowledgeable when it comes to looking for good diamonds, so between her and the jewelers he really learned a lot about diamonds. He learned how many different diamonds are out there, and the different levels there are. He did a great job buying my diamond ring after learning all of that useful information.

Such a blessing...

It's been such a blessing that I've been able to be home from work throughout this pregnancy. In the beginning I was feeling sick for about 18 weeks. Then towards the end now I'm just so tired. The baby moved a lot at night, so it's nice being able to sleep in a little bit on the nights when I am not getting much rest. It worked out perfectly as far as quitting my job goes...because we found out I was pregnant when Scott and I moved away from that city. Now we're just anxiously awaiting the arrival of our little one next month.

Dream Online Community

Do you have a dream for your life that you've wanted to pursue and work towards? I'm sure there are many of us out there who have had dreams and worked towards reaching our goals. Have you ever thought it would be nice to have a place to go and talk about the dreams you have for your life with others who want to help you achieve them? If so, then you should really check out this great online forum that I came across recently, The Dream Online Community. The people on this site are dedicated and want to help you reach your goals. It doesn't matter what your dream is...you can join and share them with others. I think this is such a great way for people to connect with each other and talk about their dreams with others. You can help others by being supportive and encouraging. If you'd like to learn more about this neat site...head over there today. This is a paid post.

The Nursery

My sister in law is really good at sewing and doing things of that nature, so I asked her if she would make me some curtains for the baby's nursery. She said she would and I Just can't thank her enough. I wouldn't even know where to begin as far as making curtains goes...so I'm really happy that she was willing to do that. I found matching fabric to the rest of the stuff in the room, so it should be the perfect finishing touch!

Black Friday

Have you ever gone shopping on Black Friday? If so, you know what great deals they have out there. The problem is...almost everyone knows about these great deals, so shopping is quite the hassle on this day of the year. Standing in checkout lines and trying to maneuver through all of the people can make the day quite hectic. That's why I am happy to share with you a Black Friday website that I came across. The great thing about this site is that you can still get all of those great deals that you would out in the stores, but you can do it online and from the comfort of your own home. No more trying to deal with all the people and standing in lines for what seems like hours. I really liked how user-friendly this site was. They even offer e-mail alerts to let you know when there are new ads available for that day of shopping. By taking advantage of this, you can find great Target Deals and many other specials from other stores. How nice is that?!! I definitely am going to consider doing this this year, and you should too! You will find so many great stores to shop at...so what are you waiting for...learn more about cyber monday on their site today.

Much Cooler Weather

Wow has the weather changed over the past few days. We went from it being hot and humid, to having much cooler weather. I like it because I can actually stand to be outside some...and I would love to have the windows open! We tried leaving our windows open this weekend for a day, but realized that those small fruit bugs were flying around all over our place. They're small enough to fit in the screens of our windows and they were just everywhere. It's kind of a bummer, because I'd love to let some of that fresh air in. Hopefully the cooler it gets, the less of these bugs there will be so we can enjoy having our windows open for some of the fall.

It's so nice that people are able to get payday lending in emergency situations these days. It's nice to know that option is out there, especially when you know you can get loans from the leader of online payday lending, CheckCity.com. CheckCity.com is licensed individually by each state, and it recently announced that it will now have services available to those living in Montana. What I like about CheckCity.com is that they are known for their customer service and satisfying their customers. They want to make your payday loan online lending process as hassle-free as possible, which is something I definitely like to hear. Sound like something you'd like to learn more about? If so, check out their site today.

Our new furniture

We got that furniture that Scott's mom gave us, and WOW is it nice!! I couldn't have asked for something nicer. It's the perfect color, size, etc!! I just love how it looks in our basement! It's so nice to have some furniture down there and begin to put it together some. I love the way it looks and can't wait to get some things done to the family room down there so that will be a little bit more finished as well!!

Scott and I had lots that we had planned to do this weekend around the house. With busy season starting soon, there are lots of odds and ends jobs that need to be done so we're all ready for when the baby comes. :) Unfortunately, Scott had to work today, and he's not sure when he's going to be getting off work. I was happy that my dad could make it over from work to eat lunch with my mom and I.:) It was great seeing them both. My mom and I also had a great time shopping yesterday. Heat and Mosquitoes

Today was such a nice day out, but it was a little warm for me to be able to spend much time outside. Scott was working outside much of the day and he said the heat was really bad. He drank lots of water and Gatorade which seemed to help. He also said that the bad thing about being outside these days are these awful mosquitoes! They just bit him up like crazy. I really wish that the city would start spraying again...these mosquitoes are getting out of control.

Electronic Disclosures

Having just gone through the process of buying a home, I know how much paper work there is to do. In fact, while we were going through this process...I kept telling my husband how nice it would be if some of the paperwork could be done electronically. Well, turns out now, I find out it can be with electronic disclosures. This is a great way to help get rid of some of that paper that we use during the mortgage process...while also helping all involved to save thousands of dollars. Learn more on the site today. It's really a great thing, something I wish I would have known more about while we were going through the mortgage process.

Address Book

We recently moved into our new home, and for the longest time I could not find my address book. I thought that it got lost in the move somewhere, which was very disappointing considering I have everyone's address in there. Turns out that it was just misplaced, and I stumbled across it today!! YYEEAAHH!! I had been looking for this for weeks...and I'm so happy that I found it finally.

Bacterial Meningitis

Anyone who has ever had a child in college, or has gone to college themselves knows about the danger surrounding bacterial meningitis. Recently I read something about how dangerous this is, and how many states are now requiring that students get the vaccination to fight against it, or sign a waiver. When I was in school we were hearing of a number of people who were becoming infected with meningitis, and it seemed to be the smartest thing to get the vaccination. Most people got it as a way to protect themselves from this disease that slowly shuts down your organs. I'm not sure how many more states will opt to have this be a mandatory vaccination, but I think it's probably a good idea, especially for those who are in a dorm like setting.

Where do the nights go??

Where do the nights go? It seems like they just fly by...from the minute Scott gets home til we go to bed. He usually comes home around 6, we have supper, clean up and then do some odds and ends around the house like laundry or something...and by that time it's almost 9:00 already! I just can't believe how quickly time goes. I would like it if it would slow down just a bit.

Orlando, Florida

The summer may be coming to an end, but that doesn't mean that there can't be vacations planned for the holiday season. I recommend you check out Orlando and all that it has to offer people of all ages. If you're interested in Orlando and finding tickets to their parks, like Disney World Tickets for example, dinner shows, attractions, etc. then I recommend you check out Orlandofuntickets.com. Here is where you will find great discounts on all kinds of tickets, as well as wonderful customer service. Make planning your vacation easy with Orlandofuntickets.com. Check them out and see what you think...you won't be disappointed!

Popcorn Companies Drop Chemical

Recently I heard that there are 4 different microwave popcorn companies dropping a chemical out of the makings of their yummy butter that they put on the popcorn. From the sounds of it, this chemical releases fumes that may be harmful to consumers, and has been proven to be harmful to those who make it as well. I am glad that they're looking out for the consumers and making sure that every thing is as safe as it can be.

eVault

Have you ever heard of Encomia before? I hadn't until just recently, but wanted to share with you a little about them. Encomia is a company that offers a great electronic vault that can be used to store financial assets. It stores things like electronic loan documents, where they are safe and secure. They can be easily transferred though. So, say you need to send the loan documents to investors or something...this is very easy to do. I thought this was really cool. An eVault helps to reduce the cost of loan processing and storing, it helps to reduce certification time...the list goes on and on. Learn more about the eVault on the site today. This is a paid post.

What's for lunch?

I'm sitting here trying to decide what I would like to make for lunch today. Sometimes it's hard for me to decide, because it's just me that I'm making lunch for. When Scott's here it's a little bit easier because making lunch for two is much easier than making lunch for one. I never want to make something really big, because then it's just way too much for just me. Hmm...I may have to go search the cupboards and find something.

Golfing

When I was younger I never really got into golf too much. I mean, I took golf lessons and tried to get into it, but just didn't have the interest. As I got older, my dad and Scott both helped me get more interested in the game. I have gone out golfing with both of them and others before and it really helped me learn the game and how I can become a better player. One thing that my husband tells me I now need is golf apparel ladies . He has all the gear for playing golf and he'd like to buy me the apparel as well. Maybe our whole family will turn out to be golfers one day?! You never know.

Football Season

My husband is a HUGE football fan!!! He used to play football in high school and college, and now it's something that he enjoys watching whenever it's on. It doesn't even really matter if it's college football or the NFL, or what team is playing. It could be the Vikings or even Penn State football, as long as it's football that's what he enjoys watching! During football season that's where I can find him much of the time! I think it's great that he's so passionate about something like this...maybe some day he can share his love for football with our children.

Plasma Cutting

Have you ever heard of KALIBURN before? I hadn't until just recently, but really liked the products and business they have to offer. Vacation Time

Have you ever just wanted to get away and take a vacation? I know I have!! It's been a while since my husband I were able to take a vacation, and I think it would be so great to take a short little vacation to a nice and quiet place where we can just relax. I was thinking something along the lines of Pigeon Forge cabin rental or something like that. It would be such a great vacation to help us get away from the busyness of life. Wouldn't you like to take a vacation like that??

Cufflinks

Before my husband got into the agriculture business, he really enjoyed dressing up for the sales job that he had. Now with his job he can not dress up quite as much, which is fine, because now dressing up is saved for special occasions. He owns lots of nice suits and shirts, but the one thing he does not have are cufflinks. I know this is something that he would appreciate having at some point, so I'm going to do some searching and see what I can find.

Labor Day Weekend

Scott and I just had the best weekend together. Soon he will start his busy season with the company he works for, so we were both excited for him to take off the day on Friday, as well as having Monday off. That gave us an extra long weekend to spend together. I wish all weekends were that long and relaxing...but oh well...we enjoyed the one we had.:)

Gas Credit Cards

Cash prices are still outrageous, don't you think?! I don't get much gas, but my husband who travels some for work is always talking about the gas prices being so high. I really need to share with him a great site that I found that offers a cash back gas credit card. These cards are a type of rewards card where you get cash back for gas credit card purchases. I thought this was great!! You should check out CardFusion.com. They offer a number of different credit cards that you can search through and find the best one that suits your needs.
