Planning a Wedding

I was recently looking at pictures of a friend's wedding and it brought back memories of ours a few years back. What a fun day!! We were engaged for over a year, so we had plenty of time to plan. People may think that made it easier, but it really didn't. There's just so much to get ready for a wedding, bit can get quite stressful with help. I wish I had known about WeddingChannel.com. Have you ever heard of them? They are a site that helps brides and grooms plan their wedding and take away some of the stress. They have planning tools, Wedding Ideas, advice, photos, online registry, and more! Very impressive if you ask me. I urge anyone planning a wedding to check into this site and not only get ideas, but also tips to save the gold bullion you've worked so hard to save.

Walking around Walmart

Last night Scott went to Walmart at midnight in hopes to get a Wii for my parents. Unfortunately he had to wait to see if they had any, so he did some walking around and told me how many weight loss pills they had around there. Usually during the day they have so many people there that it's hard to see everything, but at midnight there's not hardly anyone there so he was able to see all fo their product and it was weird to see all of these diet pills. I guess it's quite popular among people these days to lose weight. I wonder if works??

Dieting

There are so many people taking some kind of diet pills these days. It seems like they do work sometimes, then others you hear people say that they don't work at all. I'm thinking the best way to diet and lose weight is simply to exercise daily to some extent and eat healthy foods. This has worked for me in the past and then you're not just putting pills into your body.nk it will work for you. It's definitely worth trying so you'

Christmas Ideas

I was asking Scott what he'd like for Christmas this year, and I had to chuckle at the fact that a majority of the things he was telling me were for Golf. I love that he has a sport he enjoys and that he can play quite often...however it's kind of funny that he's wanting all of these things for Golf when he can't even play it for another 6 months or so. Here in the midwest we have some pretty bitter and snowy winter. I suppose he's thinking he could get a little practice inside swinging his clubs. We'll have to see....I definitely think getting him golf balls is a good idea though. That's a perfect stocking stuffer and something he'll be able to use if he gets those clubs he's been wanting for so long.

Snow, Snow, Go Away!

The joys of living here in the midwest. I don't mind snow around Christmas time...as it's so beautiful with all the lights up everywhere. However...getting a half foot of snow over night is not something I care for very much. It's bitter cold here and we got lots of snow last night. It's pretty, but can also make driving very difficult. Scott travels out of town for work....so weather like this is no fun. Thank goodness for cell phones. I take comfort in knowing that he can always call me if he needs to when he is out on the roads on days like today. Hopefully some of this snow melts a bit over the next few days.

Luggage

Speaking of Scott's job....we have had one banquet to go to since he started working there. It was mainly to get to know everyone, as well as the receiving of awards for those who have sold what they consider to be a large amount of product. It was fun to go and see what Scott actually does in his job and what he will be doing in years to come. Upon leaving they had a surprise for all of the wives. We were given Samsonite luggage and bath and body gift sets. It was great! I could definitely get used to that.

Scott's Job

Scott loves his new job. It's much different than the job he had before. He has a lot more freedom, has the schedule everyone dreams of, and even gets many promotional items. He works with a lot of different representatives who give him gear to market their businesses. The other day he came home from a meeting with a bag full of promotional pens and other things. It's nice that he has so many perks with this job and loves it so much.

Shopping at Dollar Stores

I don't know about you, but with the prices on everything rising, I find myself more and more interested in shopping at dollar stores. They offer many of the items we need at a fraction of the price!! I don't really care what dollar store franchise it is either....all I care is I'm getting the best price. There are many dollar stores in our area, and we typically go to the one that is closest to our house. All of them offer great deals though.

Restful Day

I really need to relax some tomorrow. Although a fun weekend, we sure are tired, as we have been going, going, going since Thursday morning. I'm hoping we get to sleep in a little and have a nice restful day before the next work week begins on Monday. I think Scott would like a day like this too. Hopefully Kaelyn does also. :)

Nikon Deals

Nikon is a very well known brand, as they offer quality products for reasonable prices. If you're someone who enjoys Nikon and the hunting items they provide, you definitely want to check out the awesome Nikon Ultimate Hunter's Package Promo from Nikon Sport Optics, Nikon Pro Gear, and NikonHunting.com that they have going own. The package includes ProStaff 3-9x40 Riflescope with BDC Reticle, ProStaff Laser Rangefinder, Silent Technology Rangefinder Case, Mastering a Long-range shot with BDC DVD and a $50 NikonProGear Gift Card. Who wouldn't want a package like that?? They come together with a savings of 144.90. As if that's not enough...they are making the Gift Card Promotion to include Nikon Monarch, Binoculars, Trailblazer Binoculars, Nikon Action 10x50 Binoculars and more! Check out these great deals to learn more.

Fun Weekend

What a great holiday and weekend we had!! We just got back tonight from a very eventful few days. We had three Thanksgivings to attend on Thursday which made for a very fun day and full tummys. :) Then Friday we were up early and did a little shopping. We found a couple of great deals. Friday night Scott took me on a date to one of the best movies we've seen in a long time...Fireproof. If you have not seen it, you really should! Then today we were at my parents and helped them put up their C-mas decorations. We're now at home working on our decorations.

Karisma hotels

A vacation somewhere warm is definitely something I'm thinking about these days. With snow on the ground and the temps bitter cold, I can't think of anywhere else I'd rather be. Have you ever heard of the Karisma Hotels before? I came across them wile browsing for a good vacation spot, particularly cancun vacations, and thought they sounded great!

The Karisma hotels is a collection of properties on the beaches of the Mexican Riviera Maya. This resort offers a new Gourmet-Inclusive concept which is great for those who love food like I do!! If you're looking for a vacation that's not only relaxing...but offers amazing accommodations and entertainment then this is the place for you. They'll treat you as good as gold. If you're interested, take a look at their site today and see what you think. I don't think you'll be sorry you did.

Fun Week Ahead

I am sure looking forward to next week already. First....it's Thanksgiving so we'll have the opportunity to spend some time with each of our families. I'm really excited about that!! Then, Friday of course is only the biggest shopping day of the entire year! YEAH!! Scott and I were enjoying looking at some of the Black Friday ads last night...what great deals. I'm more going to browse...but you never know what deals you can find. Finally...on Saturday I think we're going to go to the Fireproof movie while my parents watch Kaelyn. What a fun week/weekend! I can't wait!!

Movie Night

Can you believe that Scott has never seen the Titanic movie?! In all the time I've known and been married to him, I never knew that he hadn't seen that movie until last weekend. I told him how good it is and that he absolutely has to watch it with me sometime soon! If we can get our work done around the house today, I think we're going to watch it together later tonight. I hope he likes it. I think he will.

Find a Dentist...

If you're looking for the best cosmetic dentist, orthodontist, or periodontist in Irvine...you should take a look at cosmeticdentist411.com. I had never seen their site, but once I did I thought there would be many people who would benefit from checking it out. Their dentists offer dentistry procedures like braces, crowns, bonding, Invisalign, veneers, implants, whitening and more! Their dentists are all trained to do all of these things which I thought was quite impressive. You don't find dentist like this everywhere. It's quite impressive if you ask me. Check out their site for more information on Irvine teeth whitening.

Long Week

I'm so happy it's Friday! I thought at the beginning of the week that the days were going to go by quickly...but it seemed like Friday took forever to get here!! Scott has been working pretty long days, so I'm happy to finally have the weekend here and know that he will be home to help me out with things. The days have been long and exhausting without him home...I think that's why our week felt so long. I'm exhausted and definitely could use some help.

Fireproof

It's been a little while since Scott and I were able to go to a movie. I'm looking forward to next weekend, because it's looking like we'll probably be able to go to the movie Fireproof and have my parents watch Kaelyn. I've read some great reviews on the movie and am really looking forward to watching it finally! I think my parents are going to go to the movie too...just a different time than us so they can babysit. I'm glad they are always willing to watch Kaelyn...they're so good with her and she loves her Grampa and Grammy.

Diet Pills

I have never used diet pills...but I have seen the ads and the products in the stores....and know that there are many options out there for people to chose from. I can only imagine how hard it is to find a diet pill that works. Having so many to choose from, it can't be easy to find the right one very quickly. I'm sure with research and testimonials...the decision becomes easier, but as with anything....having so many choices can be a good and a bad thing. I know I wouldn't even know where to start.

Job Loss

It's so sad to watch the news these days. All you here about is all the jobs the people in our country are losing. I feel for them. We have businesses closing down all around us, and it's sad to hear the situations that so many people are finding themselves in. The big talk right now is that of the auto industry. I think I heard today that they finally decided on a way to help them before they have to close down and layoff more people! Lets hope our economy can get back on track soon.

New Years 2009

Today I got to thinking about the holidays and how they're just around the corner. Isn't that crazy?? I know that New Years is a fun holiday for many people. For those looking for something to do the night of New Years 2009....they should check out ClubPath.com. I found this site and was impressed with all the information they have to offer those interested. Whether you're looking for toronto nightclubs, a new years festival, or something else....they have all the information you need. You might think with all this information that it would be hard to find what you're looking for...but amazingly it's a very well set up and user friendly. They have easy to find tabs and search bar right there on the home page. I had no problem looking through the site and finding all the New Years information that I was looking for.

The New Year is coming quickly...so, if you're looking to plan your New Years Party early, ClubPath.com is here to help. Take a moment and check out their site for yourself. You won't be sorry you did!! I know I'm not!

Thanksgiving

I'm looking forward to Thanksgiving. It's still a week away, but I always enjoy time spent with family. Scott has to work the Friday after, but I think Kaelyn and I will be shopping with my parents and my brother. The day after thanksgiving is always a great day to find wonderful deals!! Most of all I'm just looking forward to seeing family and relaxing a bit.

Regency

More than 50 years ago, Regency was founded. They are currently the fastest growing beauty school in the country! Pretty impressive I'd say. They went from only having two schools in Minnesota to 30 campuses in the country. They actually are planning on continuing to grow over the next year as well. What impressed me so much about Regency is the education they offer. They help to give students the experience needed through hands on classes that mirrors actual salons. If you're looking into cosmetology schools...Regency may be what you're looking for. Take a look at their site today for more information.

Vacation

Scott and I were recently discussing how nice a vacation would be. We haven't been on a vacation in longer than I can remember. Probably well over two years ago! We'd like to go somewhere warm with plenty of things to do. las vegas is one option, but we're not sure it's a place we want to take Kaelyn. Maybe we should look into something a little more laid back. That sure sounds nice. I look forward to any vacation...as long as it's time I can spend with family.

Watching Sports

I don't know about you, but sometimes I get tired of watching sports. My husband absolutely loves watching sports of all kinds...it doesn't matter if it's basketball, golf, football...you name it...he's watching it. He's more than willing to watch things that I want...so every once in a while I let him watch his sports. I just don't get how he can enjoy watching it without falling asleep. It always makes me very sleepy. Maybe that's because I get bored.

Addiction Treatment

Have you ever heard of Promises Treatment Center before? I had, but I didn't realize how much they do for people with addiction problems until I read up more on them by visiting their site. They help to treat a variety of drugs like cocaine, codeine, marijuana, alcohol and methamphetamine. If you're interested in learning more about Promises Treatment Center and their rehab clinics....head over to their site today for more information.

Long and Busy Day

What a day! I'm so tired!! We had kaelyn's one year pics as well as our family pictures taken today...so as you can imagine that was a lot of work to get ready for and done. Thankfully my dad came up to help us out....that was SO nice of him! I appreciate it so much. Then, tonight we got home...had supper and then went to get my hair cut. You could say I'm very happy to be sitting on our comfy couch and enjoying the company of my hubby. It was just a very long and busy day....fun though.

Needing a Vacation

I could not believe that it began snowing last week. We were all hopefully that the snow would melt and the temps would warm up...but unfortunately it looks like winter is here and it's here to stay! The snow is still on the ground, and it continues to accumulate each day. I could be wrong, but to me that feels like winter is here. Bummer! It definitely has me wishing that we could look into Orlando vacations or something...but with it being Christmas time money is tight. Maybe this spring or summer. Aww...a vacation sounds wonderful!

Capella University

Capella University is a fully accredited online University that offers many opportunities for people to get their masters and undergraduate degrees!! I have read and researched about them many times and am impressed with all they have to offer those interested in furthering their education. If you'd like to learn more about Capella, you can check out their website and even take a look at their latest Inside Online Education podcast. It features an interview with Beverly Enns who is Capella's faculty chair for reading/literacy there. It's always interesting to see what other people who work there or go there have to say about the school...and that's what these podcasts provide. You can learn more by heading over there today and checking it out! There are many online colleges out there, but this one is one of the best in my opinion!
This blog post was based on information provided by Blogitive. For more information, please visit Blogitive.com.

It's the WEEKEND!

This week just flew by. Just a week ago we were celebrating Kaelyn's first birthday, and now we're already to the weekend again. I wish I could say that we're going to have a relaxing weekend, but we're not really. Yesterday we had Kaelyn's Dr appointment and then had to clean the house before my brother came to stay....then today we have someone coming to hook up a phone line in our house, are hanging lights on the house, and doing laundry. And...tomorrow we have Kaelyn's 1 year pictures to get taken. Weekends are great, but they always go so quickly, especially when we're this busy!

Andy Barkate

Have you ever heard of Andy Barkate before? He is a financial executive with lots an dlots of experience in the financial services industry. He has held many high positions with different noteworthy investment firms. Currently, he is the owner of California Retirement plans LLC and also conducts different retirement planning workshops for different businesses and government entities like Boeing, Shell Oil, NASA and more! I thought with the way our economy is going, and the fear many of us have concerning our retirement...that it would be useful to learn more about him and what he is doing to help! You can check out the website for more information.

Busy, Fun-filled weekend!

Wow...what a busy and fast weekend we had!! Friday was Halloween...which was a lot of fun. We took Kaelyn trick or treating in her little Ladybug costume and had a blast. She enjoyed seeing all the people out and about. Saturday was her FIRST birthday! I can't believe she is already one. Then Sunday was her birthday party, where we celebrated with our parents and siblings. It was a busy time, but a lot of fun! Kaelyn and fun seeing all her Grampas and Grandmas and aunts and uncles! The only thing about such a busy weekend is it goes by FAR too quickly. At least we got lots of pictures to remember it always.

Lasik Procedure

I recently read an article about NASA and the US military and the increase of personnel who are taking advantage of laser vision correction technologies. It helps to improve their job performance as you can imagine! LASIK has helped many people over the last 5 years, and those with NASA and the military have taken advantage of the outstanding results as well! I think it's great. These men and women face physically demanding conditions where good eyesight is very important. With iLasik....there are two lasers used instead of one. It was definitely an interesting article dealing with LASIK technology and made me want to look into it for myself. Hearing how beneficial it's been for so many others has made me want it even more. If you're like me and would like to learn more, you definitely should check out the iLasik site today!! There is a lot of useful LASIK information there that will help you to see if this is a procedure or option that would help you or would be right for you. It's definitely worth taking a look in my opinion. I'm glad I did. I'm going to share this information with anyone looking to increase their vision capabilities!!! It's very exciting to know that it's even moving into the NASA and military fields.

One Year Old

Our little girl is one! I can't believe it. It doesn't seem possible. She's getting to be such a big girl. Before we know it another year will have passed. I hope that it doesn't go by as quickly as this first year has.....I would like to slow down a bit so we can enjoy each moment even longer. Either way we're going to continue to take lots of pictures so we can remember each special day for years to come. That's what I love best about pictures. And digital pictures make it even easier.

Well....they have everything from exercise and fitness equipment/medical supplies and nutritional dietary supplements, to maternity and baby supplies! New Camera

The other night we got out our camera wanting to take a picture and noticed that the LCD was cracked. We're not sure how it got that way, but were quite bummed...as now the screen is unusable. The rest of the camera is in very good working condition, however not having the LCD screen kind of defeats the purpose of having such a nice camera in a way. I was a bit bummed....as it was my birthday gift. Now we're in search for a new one already. Oh well...what can you do?!

Promises Treatment Centers

I'm sure like me, you've known someone who struggles with an addiction of some sort. Maybe you are the one struggling and in desperate need to find a treatment center that's right for you. If so, you may want to look into the Promises Treatment Center. They want to help you start the healing process by giving you the help you need. Whether it's co ocurring disorders or something else....they want to help. It's important to make sure that the rehab program you are a part of is right for you, so you definitely should check out their site to learn more.

SO WINDY!

It has been EXTREMELY windy here lately. I'm not sure why...but it really is hard to even catch your breath outside because the wind is blowing so hard. We have enjoyed taking Kaelyn out sometimes this Fally, but now with the temps dropping and the wind blowing it's getting harder to do that. I hope that this isn't a sign that winter is coming soon...I am not ready for that. I want a little bit of Fall longer.

aGoodCause.com

Have you ever wanted to give to a good cause, but didn't know quite where to start? Well...look no further. All you h ave to do is go through the site, www.agoodcause.com and download their AidMaker software. This will help you give to your favorite charities for free. How you ask? Well....all you have to do is shop online like you normally do and in more than 5000 online stores they will make a contribution to your charity out of themone you paid for the item. I thought this was just wonderful!! What an easy way to give to charities like Save the Children, Red Cross, Amnesty International, OXFAM and many others. They want to help to make the world a better place and are using the great resource of online shopping to do that. If' you'd like to learn more check out their site today!

Busy, Busy!

Wow...we've sure been busy lately. We had a very fun weekend visiting my brother for the weekend. Then we came home yesterday afternoon and cleaned the house, unpacked and then rearranged our family room. It was something we had been wanting to do for a while now...so I'm really happy we finally just did it. It's really given us a lot more space which is great for Kaelyn who likes to play in there. I'll post pictures soon.....

Dieting

I was recently watching a new show called The Doctors....I'm not sure if you've seen it or not, but they were talking about different ways to lose weight. They were talking about different weight loss pill, surgeries, and other options. I guess what I got from the whole show was that it's not made for every body. You really need to know yourself and what would be best for you. It was really interesting to learn about and I look forward to learning more.

Baby Earth Strollers

When we first had Kaelyn, I remember one of our biggest dilemmas as far as what to buy, was a stroller! We had one that came with our car seat, however it just wasn't doing what we needed it to. In all honesty, it seemed a bit cheap. We looked and looked and just couldn't find one that we liked. Then, my parents came back from a trip to Texas with a stroller for us! They had bought us one of the Chicco strollers that can be found on the Baby Earth site! What I like best about this site is the variety of good strollers they have to offer. I wish that I would have thought to look on here, but I'm glad my parents did! I took a look and really am impressed with their quality products.

So what's so great about their strollers besides the quality? Well...whether it's a regular stroller you're looking for, a buggy, a jogging stroller, or even a double stroller, they have it all! Their designs are so innovative and practical which I really appreciate as a parent. If you'd like to learn more about them, just head over to their site today.

Visiting My Brother

I can't believe it's Thursday already! It seems like it was just the weekend, and now it's almost the weekend again. I LOVE weeks like this! I'm especially looking forward to this weekend because we may go down to see my brother. We haven't been down to visit him for a very long time and I know he'd appreciate the company. I look forward to spending the weekend down there if we go. It will be fun just catchup and relax. Hopefully it will work out so we can go.

Bluetooth Headset

I used to have a Bluetooth headset, but didn't find that I used it much. Now however, I have a job where I am unable to answer my phone unless I have a headset. So...needless to say I am in search for one again. I sold my old one, and am now on ebay looking for one that I would like. So far I haven't had any luck...but with time I'm sure I'll find one.

Birthday Girl

Today I am one year older and it's crazy how fast the past year has gone! Isn't it weird to think back over the last year and all that has gone on in a fairly short period of time?? So much has changed in my life over the past year. The most memorable, and happiest day in the past year was definitely the birth of our daughter, Kaelyn!! She is our first child and has brought into our lives so much joy! I am truly blessed!! Last year at this time we were anticipating her arrival...and wondering when she would decide to enter this world and meet us! She decided to hold off until November 1st...but it was all worth the wait just to hold her in our arms!! :)

So far my birthday has started off perfectly....with kisses from my hubby and daughter and a sweet gift they got for me! I've been eyeing a super cute purse in our local mall for quite some time...and I guess Scott realized that. He surprised me with one of the purses that I have been wanting...what a sweet guy! I'm very luck to have him as my husband!! :) Seeing how my birthday is in the middle of the week like this...Scott had to work. But, I'm still looking forward to a night spent with him and Kaelyn later, just relaxing and enjoying a peaceful evening at home. This is my idea of the perfect birthday!!

Find.com

You enjoy using search engines? If so, you may or may not have heard about the Find.com Search Engine. They are a recently launched consumer search engine. They offer a written directory from experts. I found it to be new and different...as well as very interesting and informative. What I liked best about it is how user friendly it was. It was also very fast and accurate which is great as well. In my opinion there are many benefits to using this search engine over others out there. The first of which is simply that it's SO easy to remember the website...Find.com. I mean, who couldn't remember that, right?! The easy part, which is also a favorite of mine, is that you can just enter http://find.com/any_keyword and find what you're looking for without searching. You'll simply get a directory of results. Isn't that great?!? I told you it's new and different! Why don't you take a moment and check it out. You'll be impressed with their 500 articles and easy to use format. Use it to Find People, Find Jobs, or Find Friend. I have a feeling you'll want to tell everyone about it too once you've tried it.

Fall Weather

It's weird to look outside and see the leaves on the ground. It doesn't seem like it can already be that time of year again, does it?!? I know fall is supposedly here now, but we were already feeling fall weather before August was even over this year. That's just WAY too early in my opinion. Don't get me wrong, I love the cooler weather....but to have the bitter cold nights and the leaves already falling....that's just crazy. I just hope winter doesn't come too soon.

ShopWiki.com

Have you ever heard of ShopWiki before? I hadn't until just recently, but found it to be a very helpful site and thought many others would as well. What they are is a site that finds every store on the web that crawls the net similar to the way Google does. I guess that's the best comparison to make. What I like about them is that they show all stores, not only those that have paid them to put their store on there. It's a convenient way to find EVERYTHING you would ever need.

So maybe you're looking for something baby related. This is probably what I would search for most having a little baby now. If this is a category that you might be looking under, you'd head over to their site, click on the Babies and Toddlers category and then find the product you're looking for. Maybe it's a car seat, or possibly a diaper bag. Or, maybe you're looking for a Laptop computer?! This is the site to go to if that's the case. You'll find a helpful buying guide and everything you would need to make a decision. What's great is when you click on something specific, you're given "things to look" for...and a truly helpful guide to buying. I thought it was great. It definitely saved me time searching through hundreds of stores individually. Check it out and see what you think today.

Playing in the Leaves

We sure had a nice weekend. Saturday was pretty busy, but Sunday we had a nice time taking Kaelyn outside to play in the leaves for the first time. It was neat to see her exploring and playing. She was crawling around in the leaves, and even attempting eat them...thankfully we caught her before she did that every time! :) She also had fun playing Peek a Boo by the tree and listening to the leaves crackle below her feet. What a sweet little girl. I'm looking forward to taking her outside again sometime soon.

Stuff With Pregnancy

When I was pregnant with Kaelyn, I had terrible headaches almost the entire time. I knew that it was a hormonal thing...and being pregnant I couldn't take much for medication. I had to struggle through them daily almost. Pregnancy also brings about acne. Thankfully I didn't have this problem, but I know many women do. There again, you can take medication like Triclear or anything like that...so you're stuck trying the natural methods that may or may not work. I guess it's good that it's only 9 months...then things kind of get back to normal.

Holsted Jewelers

I don't know about you, but I sure love jewelry. I like fancy jewelry, as well as everyday jewelry like fashion jewelry. I came across holsted Jewelers and was impressed with all that they had to offer. I've been looking for jewelry like that which they offer on their site. Their site makes it SO easy to search for the pieces of jewelry that you want...as well as the price range you're looking to spend in. I am happy that I came across them and wanted to pass their site along in case others wanted to take a look as well.

Busy, Busy!

The nights just fly by! Scott gets home around 5:30, but by the time we get supper made, eat, feed Kaelyn and get her to bed.....it's already 8:00. Then we always have clean up to do and other work to get done around the house. It's really never ending. By the time we actually get to sit down and rest, it's bed time. Oh well... I guess I'd rather be busy then to have nothing to do all the time. Although, it would be nice just to have a night or two when we could relax and enjoy each other's company more.

Yeah!

Scott came home from work pretty excited tonight. He found out that he'll be getting his computer next week, and his work vehicle in the next couple of weeks. He's been waiting for a month and is very ready to have them. He has a truck he drives right now, but it's older and does not allow him to do his job to the best of his ability. It's far too small. I'm happy that he's finally getting the things he needs...now we're just waiting on the business cards.

Mark and Associates

Mark and Associates, P.C. are a leading personal injury law firm. You may have heard of them, especially recently. If you haven't been keeping up with the presidential candidates, then you probably haven't heard that they applaud Senator Brack Obama for supporting the federal law, the Jones Act, which offers compensation to seamen who have been hurt on the job. If you have been keeping updated on the campaign, then you may have heard this news already. Obama has also been endorsed by the Seafarers International Union who have sent a letter to Obama about this. You can learn more about this and the maritime lawsuit at www.maritimelegalrights.com and http://www.jonesactrights.com.

Turning on the Heat

Tonight we're going to start turning on the heat. We haven't had to do this at night yet...but this morning when we woke up and found that the house was 66 degrees we thought we better start...at least so it doesn't get below 68 or so. We're thinking more of Kaelyn than ourselves when it comes to this....as we can bundle up and sleep just fine. However, Kaelyn is still young enough where she moves all over her crib and can't cover herself back up as easily. We want her to be comfortable and warm enough so we'll see how turning on the heat goes.

Paying Bills Online

I was doing bills today and started appreciating the fact that I have many of my bills taken directly out of my checking account each month. It makes my job easier....having fewer checks to write, and fewer stamps to buy. In fact, over the years I've added more and more bills to the "easy pay" option and love it!! We began with our auto insurance being taken out...and now some of our student loans and even our cable bill. If you don't have any of your bills taken out automatically, you should look into it....it's great!

Baby Products

Wow....before having Kaelyn I had no idea that there were so many baby products out there! I mean, there's something for everyone, isn't there?!? There are some really creative, and experienced people who have come up with some of the products for sale today. It really helps to make the lives of parents more convenient. I would say the only things that haven't changed much are diaper bags...although those from Ju Ju Be are quite nice and unique....and probably some of the toys that are still available. Other than that, at least since I was a baby...it seems like everything has changed in style, color...you name it. I wonder what they'll come up with next?!?

Great New Job!

With Scott's new job he has lots of perks! The benefits he gets are incredible. With his last job there were many things that he wasn't able to get....one being an allowance for work clothing and the other being much time off. This job is completely different. He has great ours, great vacation time available, a gas expense account, as well as an allowance for work uniforms. It helps us financially when his job will pay for some of these things. The only thing that they don't offer is money for shoes. Scott is in sales, so he's on his feet a lot. Tonight I think we're going to go to the mall and see if we can't find him a pair of shoes. Hopefully we'll be able to find something reasonably priced and nice.

Auto Body Shops

Somedays I don't think life could get any busier. I am sure it could...but it just feels that way sometimes when I'm trying to balance everything. I have found that I multitask a lot, as well as find the fastest way to get things done. For instance, I use the internet for many things now...work, communication, bills, shopping etc. I even do searching online. Like, if I need to find a local body shop in my town, I simply get online, look through maps and reviews and ratins and find the right one for me at autobodydowney.com. It's so easy and convenient...it makes life much easier that way. Now I can get online and find estimates and make appointments for the downey body shop all from my computer. It doesn't get much easier than that, now, does it?!

Is Winter Around the Corner?

It's really cold out the past few days. You can definitely tell that Fall is officially here. The leaves are beginning to fall and the temps are dropping....a typical Fall here in the Midwest. I have to say that I don't mind watching the leaves turn colors this time of year...but I do not like this cold weather at all. You'd think I would be used to it after living here my whole life, but I am not!! It's miserable having to put on layers just go outdoors. I hope that this isn't a sign winter is on it's way....

Learning Each Day

Recently while online, I came across a wine of the month club. Did you even know there was such a thing?? I have heard of a book of the month club and other things along those lines...but never wine of the month club. I suppose as someone who doesn't drink...this is something I haven't come across before. It's interesting though, and probably something that those who enjoy a glass of wine would really appreciate. I guess you just never know what you'll find browsing the web. I learn something new every day!

Lots of Moving

With all this talk about possibly moving in the near future...I got to thinking about all the times we've moved since we've been married. In just over three years, Scott and I have moved 4 times. YIKES! That's a lot in my opinion. We thought moving into this home that it would be one we'd have for a long time. We're not in a hurry to move, however with the new job that Scott now has, we know that it's smarter for us to move at some point. In the past we've moved our things little by little, with the help of family and friends. However, this time I'm wondering if we'll need the help of moving services or something. We have a lot of things, and would like to get it all moved at once...not little by little. I guess we'll just see how everything works out.

Long Week!

Is it only Tuesday?! It sure doesn't feel that way. I feel that the week has already been dragging on and on. I can't imagine how the rest of the week will go if it already feels that way and it's only Tuesday. I think part of it is that it's been fairly cold outside, so Kaelyn and I have been couped up and unable to do much outdoors. That's never fun and makes for a long day. We may have to bundle up and venture out...at least on a walk or to the park or something.

U-Pack Shipping

When Scott and I moved, we looked into all kinds of moving truck options. I wish that we would have looked around even more...as we would have really enjoyed knowing about ABF U-Pack Moving. This is a company that offers moving and storage services. For instance, they offer U-Pack for motorcycle shipping. That means, if you have a motorcycle that needs to be moved, they will do it for you. You pack it up in the trailer or ReloCube that they drop off, then they deliver it to the new location and you unlaod it! It's that easy! Who wouldn't want to take advantage of a service like this?!? I know I would. It's a great motorcycle transport option, and one that many people should look into. Bike transport is not cheap, but when you go through ABF U-Pack Moving, you'll not only get it cheaper than going through a full service mover, but you have the convenience of them delivering it for you! You can learn more about their dirt bike shipping by visiting their site today!

First Birthday Outfit

Last week I had ordered an outfit for Kaelyn to wear at her First Birthday Party. I was hoping it was as nice as advertised, and it was!! I haven't tried it on her yet, but it's really great! It's comfy, and it even comes with a super cute little princess hat! I'm really excited to get her in the outfit and have her birthday party. It will be a lot of fun to get the family together and celebrate her first year!!

Beautifeel Shoes

One of the many things I enjoy shopping for is shoes. I don't get to go shopping a lot for myself, but when I do...shoes are at the top of my list. Recently I was going through my closet wondering why I have so many shoes. I think it's because I always buy shoes, then realize that they are not comfortable so I continue looking for the perfect pair that I can wear often. I have finally found those shoes! I came across Beautifeel shoes which is basically a brand of shoes that allows women to wear comfortable shoes that are also beautiful! What a perfect combination. Now maybe my shoe shopping days will be over...but hey, as long as I have a comfy, and nice pair of shoes to wear it won't matter.

Baby Nap Time

Recently Kaelyn has switched to taking one nap a day instead of two. I never thought it would make a huge difference in our day...but boy has it! I love having her awake more...we get to play together more that way...however, I am finding that it's much harder to get things done that I need to on a daily basis. I never realized how much work I was able to get done in those couple of hours of morning nap time. Wow!! I guess that's just how it goes....and there's always tomorrow to get things done. I'd much rather spend time with our little girl than work and clean anyways. :)

Making Money as a SAHM

Have you ever wanted to make good money from home? When my husband and I decided that I was going to stay home with our little girl, I tried to find many ways to make money from home. I wouldn't necessarily have to...but it feels good to bring in a little extra income just to make our financial situation a little more comfortable.

In my search I've come across things that are profitable, and those that aren't so much. It's amazing the opportunities available to those who take the time to just do a little searching. I have found that blogging is a great way to not only post about the things that are important to me, but also a wonderful way to make some extra money as well. Survey's are great to do, however they are definitely not a "get rich quick" option. Recently I have even taken up an interest in selling on ebay. This has been quite profitable, however the fees for listing and selling are quite expensive.

These are just a few options out there, and I'm sure there are many more if you take some time to search around.

Video Cards

Have you ever wanted to have a better picture when playing games on your computer? If so, I learned today that video card are what will help. My brother is big into technology and things like that, and he's the one who told me about it. I thought it was really neat that there was a card like this for those who consider themselves "gamers". What will they come out with next?!? These new advancements in technology never cease to amaze me.

Find a Beauty Job

For anyone interested in finding beauty jobs, there is now a great site that offers a beauty jobs search engine. BeautyJobs recently announced their launch of this job placement website and I'm very excited to share it with all of you! BeautyJobs.com has created this site exclusively for the industry to help people to find salon and spa jobs! I think it's great. There are so many people looking for jobs, so anything that will help to make that easier is definitely going to be appreciated by many! If you're interested in a job like this, check out their free search engine today! You won't be sorry you did!

Cute First Birthday Outfit

For Kaelyn's first birthday I wanted to get her a cute little outfit to wear. I know most people get really dressy outfits, but I was just looking for something unique and comfortable. I decided to go on eBay and to my surprise that was a SUPER cute little outfit that was exactly what I was looking for. The best part is that it was brand new! I'm hoping that by tomorrow when the auction ends that I have the winning bid, as I really think this would be the perfect outfit for Kaelyn! It's SO cute!

Great Job!

Last night Scott sat down and got on the website his employer gave him. He was to go on and order the clothes he wanted for work. They give him a pretty big money allowance to get everything from shirts to hats to coats. I thought that was pretty neat, as many jobs don't supply you with all of that. He was able to get a number of different shirts, a winter jacket, and more! He really enjoys all the perks like that, and so do I!

Monaco Rare Coin

There are many people with an interest in investing with precious metals, so I thought I would pass this helpful information along. The monex family of companies, which is a trusted leader in precious metals investments for almost 40 years has a part of their company called Monaco rare coin. They make available a unique variety of resources for investors and collectors. I am very interested in checking them out, as they have the finest rare coins out there. I know also, that since they're affiliated with monex that their staff are very knowledgeable and willing to help in any way that they can. If you're interested in learning more, take a look at their site today!

Always work to do...

Sometimes I wish that there were more hours in a day. I'm sure many people feel like this at some point or another. Life gets busy and more hours would definitely help me to get more things done. It's tough now that Kaelyn is only taking one nap too. I used to get a lot of work done during her naps, but now I only have one to hurry and get everything done. I guess I just need to keep reminding myself that there's always tomorrow to get things done. It's really only housework and some things online...no biggy. :)

Frustrating E-mail Problems

I sure love the technology of e-mail...but I don't really like how I receive SOOOO much junk mail each day. In fact, sometimes I get hundreds of e-mail just over night. It's really overwhelming and so unnecessary! I have tried other e-mail accounts, and they all are the same. Even the junk mail filters don't catch even half of it. I think it's always going to be there, no matter what! I suppose I just have to get used to it, and block what I can.

Blister Prevention Patches

I recently read a web release on Tamarack Habilitation Technologies, Inc, the manufacturers of Engo blister prevention Patches. They released an announcement stating that their patches have been awarded the National health and wellness club seal of approval! I thought that was pretty impressive! I had heard of these patches, but didn't know much about them until reading this announcement. I guess this fall we'll hvae lots of formal reviews and testimonials to read about them as well. I'm excited to see these as I think this would be a great product to use. How about you? Check their site out for more info....

Saturday

I'm really looking forward to this weekend. My parents are going to come visit us on Saturday. My dad is going to help Scott cut some branches off of our severely over grown tree that hangs over the road, and maybe will even help Scott find the spots on our house that need a little paint touch up. We'd like to get all the outdoor stuff done before winter gets here. It's far too cold out then to get all of this done. At that time we'll then work on some of our indoor projects that will hopefully help us to sell our home more quickly when the time comes.

I Love Chocolate!

I know chocolate probably isn't the best for you, but every once in a while I like to have a little bit. I've always had a liking for chocolate, especially the Hershey's almonds bars! Scott always surprises me with one of the big ones whenever he goes to the store and sometimes just for fun! It's so sweet of him. The reason this comes to mind is because he just did this yesterday, so I'm enjoying a chocolate bar while I work on the computer. It doesn't get much better than that! :)

CSN

Have you ever heard of the Cable Shopping Network before? They make it possible for you to find av ariety of collectibles online or from the television. They have fun and build relationships with their customers which I think is great!! I love all the products that they offer, like presidential dollars for instance, and find myself browsing their site quite often. You can learn more about their assortment of products by visiting CSN's site today! Who wouldn't want to be a part of the most successful retailers in the collectibles industry and all that they have to offer?! Right?! Check it out and let me know what you think!

Nice Day Out!

Today was such a beautiful day outside! I walked with Kaelyn out to the mailbox and couldn't believe how nice the weather was! It wasn't too hot and wasn't too cold. It was perfect. Scott even took her on a stroller ride when he got home which was nice! I think if tomorrow is that nice maybe we'll go out and take a little walk too! I want to take advantage of every nice day we have...as soon winter will be here and then we won't be able to spend much time outdoors. It's also been really nice because we haven't had to turn our air on...YIPPEE!

Kaelyn's First Birthday

I've been busy trying to plan things for Kaelyn's first birthday. It's not going to be a huge party, but a get together for our close family. I received her invitations today in the mail and I'm really excited to get them sent out to everyone. I had them made by someone on eBay who does a great job creating unique looking layouts. I didn't want to spend a lot of money, but wanted it to be special. I think I managed to do both. Now I just have to work out a few details and things should be ready to go. I still have a month and a half...but I know it will come quickly!

VoIP Phone Systems

Whether you're a big or a small business, VoIP phone systems are definitely for you. VoIP Phone systems by Xpander are here to help you! They offer a flexible and user friendly way for businesses to use features like plug and play phones and web control panels. I like the way it gives you complete control over the phones and the features! I enjoyed learning more about them recently and wanted to pass the information along in case there were others out there who would like to use VoIP phone systems in their business. To learn more you can check out their site today!

Slow Week

Doesn't it feel like it should be later than Wednesday? I feel like it should be the weekend upon us. It's only wednesday though:P I'm hoping that the rest of the week goes by more quickly than the first part of the week has. I always look forward to weekends because that's when Scott is home and can spend time with Kaelyn and I. We both enjoy that, so that's probably my most favorite time of the week. I'm glad that he's enjoying his new job though, that is great for him. He said it makes his weeks go by so quickly!

Chiropractor Visits

I had been going to the chiropractor for a couple of weeks, trying to get my neck realigned and feeling better. The chiropractor felt that it was probably due to my pregnancy and the extra weight gain. I think he's probably right. He did say however, that the neck is a really hard thing to adjust permanently, especially when I'm carrying around a 20 lb baby every day. He seemed to make it a little bit better, but I think I would have to go to him every week to keep it feeling good all the time. I've been trying to do the stretches that he told me to do, so I'm hoping that will help some.

Find the tickets you need...

It can be quite the hassle to obtain tickets for sporting events in the NFL, MLB, NBA or NHL. It can be just as hard to get tickets to different shows in Vegas or concerts out there too! That's why I am here to share with you a site I recently stumbled across. Premium Seats USA helps people find first - class tickets to events like this by offering such a huge selection! Maybe it's Miami Heat tickets that you're looking for...if so, NO problem! Now you don't have to worry about hassling to find the tickets you need...just go here first! Check it out today and see what you think. You won't be sorry you did!

Stroller Rides and Walks

It's that time of year when it begins to get dark out earlier. It used to be that it wasn't dark til' well after 9. Now, however, it is not even 8 and it's already pitch black out. It's kind of a bummer, because Scott and I always enjoyed going on walks with Kaelyn at night. Oh well, I guess that's how it goes. At least he gets off work earlier now, so we can still go sometimes. It's so nice having him here at 5:00 instead of 7 or 8 each night. I'm glad for Kaelyn too, as now she gets to spend more quality time with her daddy!

Mom Group

Recently I was contacted by a friend of a friend who lives in our area. We go to the same church and even have kids the same age. She wanted to let me know about her Stay At Home Mom group that she has started for other mom's like myself from our area. It's basically a group that makes it possible for mom's and their kids to get together every once in a while and share their thoughts and experiences. I guess you could say that it's a nice support system for mom's, especially new moms. I am going to check out her website and see if it is at all something I'm interested in. I'm very thankful that she was so kind to let me know and I'm excited about the possibility of meeting moms in my area.

Capella

Capella University is definitely the online university you want to look at if considering getting an online education. Why you ask? Well, they are a fully accredited online university that offers master's degrees and undergraduate degrees. If you check out their site, you can also learn more by watching their Inside Online Education podcasts that they update often. I find a lot of information I'm looking for here! I like how it's real staff and students who are interviewed. That way you know you're getting legit information. I'm imrpessed with this school and I think you will be too! Head over to their site for more information.

Growing Baby

Kaelyn is nearing one years old. I can't believe it!! It hardly seems possible. As the weeks go by, I see our little girl becoming more and more of a toddler right before my eyes. She's cruising around the furniture like crazy....and even lets go to reach for other objects. I feel that she's getting very close to walking on her own. She's also using her voice more, and making some words that are familiar to her. One of the most recent changes is her nap schedule. As she gets older, she seems to need less and less sleep. When she was very young, she needed about 4 naps a day. Now, after Monday, we decided to try one nap a day. She just didn't seem to need that morning nap anymore. So...as of then she's only taking one afternoon nap a day. So far it's going really well! We'll see how she continues to handle it, but I definitely think it's working great.

Leaves Falling

It's weird to look outside and see the leaves on the ground. It doesn't seem like it can already be that time of year again, does it?!? I know fall is supposed to come soon, but we were already feeling fall weather before August was even over. That's just WAY too early in my opinion. Don't get me wrong, I love the cooler weather....but to have the bitter cold nights and the leaves already falling....that's just crazy. I really hope that summer sticks around a little bit longer, because the moment fall "officially" hits...winter is around the corner. That's probably my least favorite season of all.

Syncsort Incorporated

Have you ever heard of Syncsort Incorporated before? They have developed and marketed a high performance software for data management and protection. What's neat is that their products are used currently in over 50 countries. What are these people using it for? Well, not only are they using it to speed up data processing, but also to improve database loads and performance. As you may have already guessed, they are the leader when it comes to developers of high-performance dat protection software. How would you like to learn more about them? If so, head over to their site today and see what you think. I found it all to be quite interesting, especially the data protection solutions information, and I think you will as well.

A Baby Who LOVES to Read

Our little girl LOVES to read!! Whenever she is playing on her own, the first place she'll usually go is to her books! She just enjoys looking at them so much. She flips through the pages, trying to say some of the words related to the pictures and jabbers to herself the whole time. It's so fun to watch as she learns and grows each day. I really like that she enjoys books so much. I always make sure to have a wealth of age appropriate books for her to choose from. She enjoys them so much that she'll spend minutes and minutes just looking at them. To have a concentration level of that magnitude is pretty good for a 10 month old.

Presidential Commercials

This time of year, with the elections right around the corner, we are seeing all kinds of ads on television putting down the presidential candidates. Personally...I really don't see the point of these commercials. Half the time it doesn't seem that they are even factual...let alone relevant. I for one, want to hear the facts about each opponent...not the put-downs and comments they have to say about one another. It seems I hear a great deal more of this coming from Obama and his party so far and I just wish that it would cease.

Web based Resource For Drs

I have some great news, Epocrates is continuing to amaze us with the technology that they keep coming out with. Not familiar with them? Well, over 500,000 healthcare professionals are using their medical software which makes it easier for them to get information quickly and easily. Now, Epocrates, Inc has come out with a new web-based application that will make it even easier for them to get condition information, like chronic atrial fibrillation, drug interaction information, treatments, etc.....and it's so quick!! I don't know about you, but it would definitely help put my mind at ease knowing that the dr was getting correct info when prescribing and diagnosing. It would also make my dr visits shorter which is a huge plus!! If you're interested in learning more about this online free drug and disease resource, you can check it out online by heading over to their site today!!
This announcement was paid for by Epocrates.

A Cell Phone To Help Organize My Day

So I have had this new cell phone for a while and am really liking it! I've never been one to be too picky about the cell phone I carry, but now that I am a mom it seems I have more appointments and things to manage. I wanted a phone that would help me keep everything organized, one that made it easy to enter things into a calender and gives me reminders when I need them. I found all of that and more in the new phone that I have. I will post a pic soon! I'm liking how easy it is to use and the small size. The great part is, that it wasn't too spendy at all!

JourneyLite

With weightloss surgery becoming more and more popular among people who struggle with weight these days, almost all of us know someone who has had it, or is strongly considering it. If you or someone you know is in this situation...you definitely want to check out Journeylite and their lap band surgery options. I know it's not an option that is right for everyone, but for those that it is right for it can make all the difference in the world. Check out their site and learn more about weight loss conroe today!

Sleepy

I don't know why, but I am so tired tonight. It must have something to do with the weather change and the fact that we're cooped up inside for most of the day. I'm just feeling tired and ready to go to bed already. That's not too weird for me, as I usually go to bed by 11...but 10 is a little early I guess. Oh well....then I will feel more rested tomorrow I guess. The hard part is when I wake up early and can't get back to sleep....that doesn't make for a very fun day.

Sportsviews.com

If you're into sports as much as some people I know....like my husband for example...you definitely want to check out Sportsviews.com. Have you ever heard of it before? I hadn't until just recently when browsing the web. Sportsviews is a new Sports Social network and definitely one worth passing along. . That's right....it's a perfect place for all those sports lovers out there to connect with each other! This is a good site for any sports fan who wants to bet on sports events and issues. What's even better is that you can create your own bets to challenge others. I was impressed that you could actually discuss sports, create blogs, share videos , pictures and more. It just offers so much variety! It's a site unlike any I've seen before that are even close to being like it, and that's why I wanted to pass it along to others in case there were sports enthusiasts out there interested in learning more. If you're interested in joining, or just want to see what it it's all about first, you can join for free by visiting their site today and find a wealth of information at the click of a button! It's a very user-friendly site and one that I feel would be very easy for most anyone to use and surf. See what you think today and let me know what your reaction is.

Such GREAT help!

What a nice day. I was able to get a great deal done while having Scott home. It's been nice, and I will miss all of his help and his company when he goes back to work tomorrow. At least it's only a half week and then we're going to have the weekend together again. :) YEAH!! I'm glad he's getting to go to work tomorrow though, it's his first day and I know he'll just love it. I'll keep you updated on how everything goes. I know it will just go great!

iCoke.ca

I recently came across a great site giving people the opportunity to Win a trip to Atlanta Georgia for four, with iCoke.ca. I couldn't not pass up the opportunity to tell people about it. So what is it for you ask? Well, it's in celebration of Coca-Cola's inventor, John Pemberton. He invented the drink in 1886!! So, how does it work? Well....if you are a canadian resident and have 500 Coke coins, then you can inter to win. Secondary prizes are great too...as they include Best Buy and Cineplex Odeon gift certificates. Definiately check out this site for more information if you're at all interested!!

God is in Control!

There are times in each of our lives when things get discouraging. For most this might trigger the light bulb to come when thinking about finances for instance. We're in a time where the economy is not doing well. It makes it difficult for many of us to even pay the bills sometimes. It is in times like this though that we must keep our heads high and remember that God is control! He is there for us always and will never give us more than we can handle!! He wants the very best for us and I know he will always take care of us. Knowing this helps put my mind at ease even in the toughest of circumstances. Thank you Lord!!

Presidential Candidates

As I'm sure many others have been doing...Scott and I have been keeping up to date on the vice presidential speeches that have been taking place lately. It's always nice to know something about them, as well as obviously the president candidates. It's always interesting to hear what these people have to say and their views on things. What saddens me is to hear all of the people who have such mean things to say about the candidates. That's all I've seen online and on TV lately, and it's really saddening. I wish people would concentrate on the facts and stick to that....

Sands Brothers

Buying a car is a huge deal!! My husband and I have done that a few times since we've been married and often it's a very difficult decision. You want to get the right price, but at the same time want a car that is good quality and one you will like. For us that means a family vehicle. Next time we get a car we're definitely going to check out Sands Brothers Chrysler!! From the reviews I've read, and the people I've talked to, this is definitely a great place to do business. With them I'm sure to get the car I want for the price I need.

Feels Like Winter

Can you believe the weather lately? It sure doesn't feel like Summer still, does it?!? Or at least here it doesn't anyways!! Wow!! I realize that Fall is coming quickly, but over the past week or more I've been waking up to temps in the 50's or even colder. It's a good thing because we don't even have to run our air, but it's not so good when you feel like turning on the heat! haha Hopefully it doesn't continue to get colder and colder....as it's FAR too early for winter to come already!! I'm hoping that this isn't a sign that winter will come early this year....it's a long enough season the way it is!

Acne Products

I walk around Walmart as I get my groceries and other household prodcuts, and one of the things I see most are acne products! It seems that there are so many choices out there these days when it comes to acne treatments, it must be nice for those who are looking. The only hard part about this is that I think it would be difficult to choose one that would work for you. Everyone's skin type are different, therefore different products will work better for different people. I suppose it's a try and see sort of thing.

Soon to begin...

Well, only a few more work days, and Scott will officially be starting his new job!! We're both very excited about it and can't wait to see what's in store!! Scott didn't mind what he was doing at his current job, but just knew that he'd rather be in sales. This is something that he's wanted to do for a long time and I'm so happy that the Lord has blessed him with this opportunity!! I know it will be hard to leave his place of work now, but he's also very excited to start his new career!

Enjoying the Holiday!

It's been such a nice weekend!! I love long weekends when Scott can be home and enjoy the day with us. This weekend we were lucky enough to be able to come back and visit my family for a couple days too. We're spending the holiday with them, just relaxing and enjoying eachother's company. It's not too often that we all just get a moment to sit and relax...and that's what Labor Day is all about, right?!? I'm sure enjoying this time, and am bummed to know that tomorrow is the start of another work week for Scott. The good news is that it's his last work week with his current job and then his journey with FC begins! YEAH!!!

Car Problems

We've been very blessed not to have many car problems with any of our vehicles. When we have had issues in the past, it seems that we're always able to get the help or auto parts that we need for a reasonable amount of money. I think sometimes it's good to know someone personally who knows something about cars, rather than rushing out and taking it to an expensive car place. That's what we've done anyways and it usually works out better that way.

Fun Day

Today was such a nice day. My parents came up to watch Kaelyn while I had a chiropractor appointment. Then they ate lunch and hung out for a while. It's always nice to have company during the day. Kaelyn had fun too. She always enjoys when Grammy and Grampa can come visit her and play with her. I wish that the day wouldn't have gone so fast....but I guess we'll be seeing everyone again this weekend, so that will be fun!

Finding a Moment For Me

I've heard many mom's say that they don't know the last time they got a nap, and have no idea when their next nap will be! haha I am beginning to relate to this more and more. As a mom our first priority is our children and making sure they're taken care of and happy. With that, as well as the daily tasks we all have around the house, etc....it's tough to take a moment for me! I need to learn to do this some I know...as I will be a better mom and wife if I do. We all need to take a moment and just relax so we can face the day refreshed and rested. Do you find it hard to take a moment and relax??

Salesmedium.com

Have you ever been in search of a business, products or a certain service but didn't even know where to begin on the Internet? If so, you definitely want to check out www.salesmedium.com first. They are able to offer you a search directory with all of this and more. There's no better place to find national and local business information. If you have a moment, head over there and see what it's all about. If you like it, definitely take the time to join...you'll be very happy you did.

So Fast....

Can you believe it's already Thursday today? Wow! Where did the week go? I can't believe that it's almost the holiday weekend already. And let alone September almost...wow!! Soon our baby will be one years old...that hardly seems possible! Sometimes I wish the days and weeks would slow down just a bit. They go by so quickly it's hard to take in each one.

Accident Lawyer

I recently came across some information that I thought would be very helpful to many people looking for a Nebraska Truck Accident Lawyer. I happened to come across a web release about the Demerath Law Office which is offering free consultations to those who are seeking payment for injuries suffered in a car accident perhaps, or maybe even a motorcycle accident. This Omaha personal injury lawyer, Larry R Demerath, has had 35 years experience and can help you with your damages claims. check out his site for more information if interested. You won't be sorry you did!

Junk E-mails

As I got into my e-mail this morning, I realized that most of the new e-mails I had received through the night were junk!! Do you ever get tired of this? I know I do! Although there is a junk mail filter, I feel it does not even catch half of what comes into my e-mail each day. I wish that there was a way to fix this problem so I was not having to sift through hundreds of junk e-mails daily!! It is just not something I enjoy doing....and not something I have time for.

Tulips

I never used to be into landscaping and gardening until I moved into my own home. Now I think it's fun because I have my own place to do it. How would you like a beautiful spring garden for your tulips? If you think this would be a great way to spruce up your landscaping, you may want to start thinking about it now. Why? Well, because fall is when you should plan your spring flowers. If you'd like to check out some beautiful tulip bulbs, you should head over to goodbulbs.com

Rain

I was just telling Scott last night that I thought we really could use some rain. Then, we woke up this morning and what do you know...it's raining!!! I'm really glad that we're getting a little bit of rain, because my flowers were starting to look rather droopy after this cooler weather we've been having. I don't know if it's supposed to rain all do or what, but it's nice that we've gotten quite a bit of rain so far anyways.

Carssure.com

In the past year, Scott and I bought a car. Thankfully it was a very easy decision for us....as the opportunity to buy it kind of fell right into our lap. However, sometimes buying vehicles can be very stressful and a bit overwhelming at times. That's why it's great that there are resources out there to help, like Carssure.com. Have you ever heard of them? If not, they are the place you'll want to go when looking for your next vehicle. They want to help you find the car you want, where you want. They can also help you with other car issues like refinancing, warranty, and even Car Insurance Quotes!! You can learn more about them by heading over to their site today! You won't be sorry you did.

Busy Week

Wow....it's only Wednesday, but we've already had a pretty eventful week! After much thought and consideration, Scott and I decided that he should accept the recent job offer he received as an Agronomy Sales Specialist. He enjoys his job now, but after two years feels that his heart is not with that type of work. He's always had a passion for sales, so this new job will be perfect for him. He wanted to find a job where he could see himself working for many years....and this job will allow just that!! Scott's had a tough week, telling his family that he will be leaving the business....but we're very excited to embark on this new journey God is taking us on!!

Auto Body Experts

Scott and I have had our chair of car troubles through the years. I mean, who hasn't, right?!? One thing we've thankfully only had to deal with a couple of times is some auto body repair though. I say thankfully because it's not cheap, and it can often be hard to find someone to do it. Anyways...that's our experience. Next time we're in a situation like that, hopefully not for a very long time, we will check out the auto body Experts at CollisionRepairExperts.com. We were impressed with this site when found it, because it's important to us that experts are dealing with our vehicles, and that's what they offer. If you're looking for collision repair experts, you may want to choose this site first!

Needing To Do Bills

Over the past few days I've been working hard on getting my "to do" list done. We have some what of a busy week this week...so I'm trying to get as much as I can done early in the week. I don't like to save it all until the weekend if at all possible. I only have a couple of things left on my list...and wouldn't you know that one is dreaded bills. :P I really don't like doing bills and I procrastinate as much as possible until I finally must do them. Tonight is the night that they really need to get done. I'll have to wait until after Kaelyn goes to bed though...she keeps me quite busy when she's awake.

So Many Diet Pills

Have you noticed all of the diet pills that are offered over the counter these days? I was amazed as I shopped at Walmart the other day and had to go over to the healthcare section. I couldn't believe all of the diet pills that are offered for people to buy right there without any prescription or anything. It seems like it's so easy for people to try new things. Whether they work...I have no idea?! But I suppose it's worth a try?!?

Acne Treatments

Thankfully I never had to deal with acne too bad as a teen, or even young adult. However, with all the ads I see on television for for acne treatments...it has become evident that there are many, young people and adults who struggle with this problem. It's too bad that it has to be an issue for them...but it's good that there are products out there to help make it better. Reading reviews and other information online has to help them make the decision easier I would imagine.

Breastfeeding and Weight Loss

When I was pregnant I remember everyone telling me that breastfeeding was a great way to lose all the weight gained while pregnant, plus more! I had already planned on breastfeeding, as I felt it was best for Kaelyn....so this was good news that I'd lose weight at the same time. I believe that it would help, but I never realized how quickly it would work! Wow...were people right. If you want to lose your pregnancy weight more quickly, breastfeeding is a great way. It's the best for your baby because of the many health benefits, as well as for you so you can get back to a healthy weight more quickly.

Beauty Schools

Here in the midwest, anyone interested in cosmetology school definitely has heard of Regency beauty school before. They have been around for over 50 years and are continually expanding and growing. They went from two schools in Minnesota....to almost 30 across 9 different states! The reason why they are so well known and have so many students is because of the unique approach they bring to cosmetology education. They offer a hands on experience for their students with supervision from professionals. If you're someone interested in attending a great school for cosmetology, this might be right up your alley. You can learn more about the beauty schools in north carolina on their user friendly site where they offer much more information than given here.

Busy, Busy, Busy

Sometimes I wish there were more time in a day to get everything done...especially on days like today when Scott is working late. It's hard for me to care for Kaelyn and get everything else done too. Laundry is piling up....the plants need to be watered...supper needs to be made...it's just all a bit overwhelming! Oh well...what can you do I guess. There's always tomorrow. Hopefully it will rain soon so Scott and can get off work at a descent time one of these nights. I know it's hard for him to help too...because he has work to do on our basement as well. We're both just so busy.

Flower Troubles

For some reason we have some plants in our landscaping that are not doing too well. I know sometimes this happens....but the things is, it's mainly a few on one side of our home. We seem to have bugs attacking a couple of them and we don't know what or why?? Neither of have "green thumbs", but we thought it wouldn't be too hard for care to the kinds of plants we picked out. We've been watering them daily and aren't sure what's going on. Hopefully they'll perk up soon!

CSN

I have always enjoyed watching tv shows that sell things, especially collectibles and products along those lines How about you??? I find CSN to be my favorite. I like the Cable Shopping Network because I can also find the neat collectibles that they offer online as well, like their president dollars. They already have hundreds of thousands of customers who are completely satisfied with their services and products they offer. If you want to learn more about them and all they have to offer, definitely take a moment and head over to their very user friendly site today! You won't be sorry you did.

Junk Mail

I sure love the technology of e-mail...but I don't really like how I receive SOOOO much junk mail each day. In fact, sometimes I get hundreds of e-mail just over night. It's really overwhelming and so unnecessary! I have tried other e-mail accounts, and they all are the same. Even the junk mail filters don't catch even half of it. I think it's always going to be there, no matter what! I suppose I just have to get used to it, and block what I can.

Great Channel

Do you have a channel that you absolutely love to watch? We do, and it's HGTV!! If the television is on at our house, 9 times out of 10, it's on this channel. We love pretty much ever show that they have on there! It's so fun to see home transformed and updated. It gives us easy and cheap ideas that we can do to our own home. It's also fun to see what other kinds of homes are out there. I know many other people who enjoy this channel as well. If you've never watched it, you really should.

Orlando Vacation

Orlando is a place that Scott and I would LOVE to take our kids one day. I've been there and as a child I really thought it was a magical vacation...as so many children do. I want to give my kids that same experience. In looking around online, I came across Orlandofuntickets.com. They are a great source for discount Disney tickets, as well as them parks, dinner shows and other attraction. Why wouldn't want to save money while going to this amazing vacation spot? I know I do!! If you'd like to find out more about Orlando and all they have to offer, as well as the great prices this site has to offer...check it out today!

Lacking Sleep

Lately I haven't been feeling all that well. I think part of it is lack of sleep...and part of it is just being too busy and not getting time to just sit and be. I did take a short nap this morning, which is very rare for me....but it did help a bit. I would say it helped refresh me a little bit to get me through the rest of the day. However, this weekend I"m really going to have to try and get some sleep and find some time to relax. I think lack of sleep really effects someone after time, and it's starting to do that to me.La

So Busy

Scott has been so busy lately. Between working late and the basement, Kaelyn and I don't get much time to see him. I'm looking forward to seeing him more once this busy time slows down a bit. We miss him when he's not home. Thankfully I don't think he'll be working late tomorrow or at all this weekend which will be great. Maybe we can get all this stuff in the basement done so we can really enjoy the space we've created!

Blister Prevention

I recently learned of Tamarack Habilitation Technologies, Inc. They manufacture Blister Prevention Patches. This would be great for anyone who struggles with getting blisters. They have recently been awarded with the National Health and Wellness Club Seal of Approval!! Soon everyone will get to learn more about their patches when they release reviews and testimonials. What's great is you know you're getting a great product with these patches. Why? Well, because they weren't only tested to see how people liked them, but also to see what their effectiveness is, how good they relieve the blister pain, ease of use, price and more! Learn more on their site today!

Early Night

I just got a call from Scott and it sounds like he'll be getting off work at a descent time tonight. That will be nice for a change. He's been so busy lately with work, and by the time he gets home...Kaelyn is often in bed. He'll get to spend some time with her before she goes to bed. He'll also get to see his sister too. Then later we'll get to work on the basement and hopefully finish up some of the trim. I feel bad for him...he works so hard all day and then comes home and works til late.

Family Visiting

Today has been a nice day. Scott's sister came over to visit and she's been spending some time with Kaelyn. At first Kaelyn cried, as she hadn't seen her in a while and didn't know what to think. Quickly though, she warmed up to her and was playing right away. She especially liked it when Kim was reading to her. I think Brown Bear is her favorite book of all time!! :) It's nice having family live close enough to come and visit. Kaelyn loves seeing everyone. I'm glad she gets to...that way she'll get to know the family members that she sees often.

Las Vegas Vacation

Lately I've definitely been wanting to take a vacation. It's been a really long time since we've gone anywhere. Just for fun I thought it would be fun to look into Las Vegas vacations. To my surprise there are actually a lot of things to do there. Thanks to the Best of Vegas website, I was able to see the best Las Vegas Hotels, shows, attractions, tours and more. And what's even better...I was even able to find prices that were lower than I had seen anywehre else!! I really liked this site and if we decide to visit Las Vegas sometime soon, I will definitely be coming back to it. If you're looking into taking a Las Vegas vacation....definitely check this site out first. You won't be sorry you did.

Baby Schedule

Kaelyn has settled in to quite the nice schedule. She is taking two set naps a day now....and is eating three meals a day. She's also sleeping at least 11 hours at night, if not more. She's such a good little girl and has always been such a good eater and sleeper. She also enjoys her play time. I find that she likes to stand along furniture and walk slowly. She's so adventurous and is very brave for such a young baby. I'm really happy that she has such a nice schedule...I think it's best for her and it makes her much happier than she was otherwise be.

Basement Decor

As we work on our basement, I am seeing more things that I'd like to add over time. One thing that I'd like to get sooner than later is a new clock. The new clock will not go in our basement though, it will go in our front living room. Why?! Well, I'd like to bring the clock that we have in that room downstairs. I am thinking this new clock that I want would make a perfect Christmas gift idea. We'll have to see, but I'm thinking it would be the perfect way to get the l clock so I can continue to finish our basement decor.

Outlawradiators.com

Have you ever been looking for a Radiator and cooling components but didn't know where to start? Well, now you do. I came across the site, Outlawradiators.com. They are the leading online source for radiators and cooling components. They offer the best quality products at the lowest prices out there! You can be sure that you'll get what you're looking for, as they have everything in stock and it will be delivered to you in a timely matter. Not sure what to think? Well, take a moment and head over to their site to see for yourself. They offer a lot of information there that will make your decision much easier. Check it out and see what you think!

Cute Personality Unfolding

As she gets older, we are beginning to see more and more of what her personality is like. It's really neat to watch as it unfolds! For instance, she's very active and curious. She's always on the go and wanting to explore everything around her. She tends to get frustrated when she tries to do something new, like stand up, and is unable to for one reason or another. Although active in her own familiar territory, in public it's another story! She's often very reserved and almost shy. She shows a bit of stranger anxiety at times and likes to know where mom or dad are at all times! As she has begun to crawl and get into things, she has heard the word "no" a number of times when touching something that she is not supposed to. When she hears the word no and is redirected, she sticks out her bottom lip and gives a very sad cry. Her feelings get hurt very easily, which tells me she will be a soft-hearted little girl. She's such a sweetie and we're enjoying watching as her little personality presents itself!

I am Truly Blessed!

My hubby is the absolute best!! I appreciate all he does so much. He goes to work and works hard every day, and then comes home and works around the house too. It's nice to have someone who is willing to help, even after a long day. He realizes how busy I am during the day with Kaelyn, and wants to help in any way he can. I thank the Lord every day for such a wonderful man...he is the BEST!! He's not only a hard worker, but such a sweet guy....I am one very lucky girl!

Beach Store

We don't get to a beach often, but when we do one of the things we're lacking is a great Beach Chair. We usually get stuck on towels, which doesn't work too well with all the sand and people kicking it up on you ras they walk by. As I was looking around for beach chairs, I came across the BeachStore.com which has a lot more than just chairs. They have umbrellas, bags, towels, cars, beachweare and so much more! If you love the beach but need better "beach gear" check out this site today!! They have a large selection of beach products and continue to grow all the time.

The World of Blogging

I sure enjoy taking time to just browse blogs online. I especially like reading those that my family members author. A couple of years ago I couldn't have really even told you what a blog was...now however, myself and many of my family members keep blogs going. It's a great way to stay in touch and up to date on what's going on in everyone's lives! I really enjoy it. If you haven't started a blog yet, you may want to consider it. It can be used for personal use, as well making money.

Busy, Busy!

We have somewhat of a busy week ahead. On top of the work that Scott wants to finish in the basement, we also have furniturere to pick up, a get together on Friday night with Scott's family for his Dad's birthday, possibly Kaelyn's 9 month pictures, and a visit from his sister tomorrow. It's all a lot of fun, but just keeps us very, very busy. Hopefully we'll get some time this weekend to just relax and enjoy. I guess we'll have to see how the work goes in the basement this week. Time will tell.

Allegro Medical

Whether you're looking for exercise and fitness equipment, nutritional dietary supplements, maternity and baby supplies, or outdoor gear....Allegro Medical has it all!! They have been around since 1996 and have become one of the largest independent online retailers of life enhancing products in the US. They currently have more than 1 million customers and continue to grow all the time! I took a look at their site and was amazed with their great deals on so many different products that many people may find themselves needing. They have everything from catheters to breastfeeding pillows...and everything in between. Check out their site when you get a moment and see what you think.

9 Month Old Baby

I can't believe our little girl is over 9 months old already! It hardly seems possible!! It seems like just yesterday we were bringing her home from the hospital...and now in just a few short months she will be a year old! I am coming to the realization that people are right when they say time goes too fast when you have children. Wow! What got me thinking about this was that we are going to try and set up her 9 month pictures soon...and then soon after I need to start thinking about her one year birthday party!

Using ebay...the good and bad

I really enjoy using ebay as a source of buying the things I need or want. The only thing I don't like about buying things this way is that you really never know how long it's going to take to get your items. Recently we ordered a couple of things off of there, and still have yet to receive them. Most sellers aren't good about giving tracking numbers or shipping information so all a buyer can do is sit and wait. Hopefully we'll get something today. I'm waiting on some pictures and a toybox!! :)
