It's snowing again!!

I can't believe it! It's snowing again!! It seems like that is all it's been doing out this week. Every time I look out the window, I see snow falling. Brrrrr It's Cold!

Over the past couple of days we have had extremely cold temperatures. I don't like this because it means that we have to use our heater more in our apartment. The heater in our apartment is electric so it doesn't have a temperature gage that tells it to shut off at a certain temp., which means it continues to run, unless we shut it off. This runs up our electric bill, and I really hate that.

Gonna miss my students...

I'm starting to realize how much I will miss my students once I move to Minnesota. I only have three days left, and even though I'm so excited to move and get settled in our new home, I definitely know that I will miss many things about my job. Everyone is being so kind about me leaving and there will be many coworkers who I will miss dearly! They are even having a potluck on Friday which will make for such a nice last day for me. I'm excited, but a little sad as my last day approaches.

I always look forward to Monday because I have some shows that I love to watch. It gives me something to look forward to when I get home from work. Only 1 More Week

This is both Scott and my last week at our jobs. Friday will be our last day, and then we have 10 days off before Scott starts his new job. We are excited, but also sad about leaving our current jobs. Scott and I have both been working for our companies for over a year and we have become attached to some of the people that we work with. Getting ready for work

Spring baseball is one of the greatest times of the baseball season, other than the playoffs in October. I say this because all the hype that is built up over the spring season gets people excited for the regular season. I would much rather attend a Boston Red Sox game for my spring break, than go to South Padre or some place like that. One Week To Go!

After today, I will officially only have 6 more days of work at my job. I am excited, but also sad because I have been at this job and with this company for so long that it is going to be hard to leave. I am excited about our move and what is in store for us up in Minnesota, however.

Nothing to eat..

I am home for a quick lunch break before I go to a meeting for work...and we have absolutely nothing to eat. We go grocery shopping, but I guess we mainly buy things for meal....not quick lunches. Trying to get enough sleep...

Knowing that we'll be moving to Minnesota very soon...I've been trying to make sure that get enough rest. With all that's going on, working, getting things ready for the new teacher, and packing up to move, I find it hard to get the sleep I need. There is always something to do, so then I get to bed late and then wake up very tired the next morning...kind of like today. Still Tired

Since we found out we were moving, we've been nothing but busy every night of the week and every weekend! It's starts to wear on a person, and I'm totally exhausted!! Today it is so nice, because I was able to get off work early! Good and Bad weather

We went home this weekend to take our washer and dryer up to our new house....thankfully we were blessed with one nice day to haul it up to Minnesota....that would not have been good if the weather would not have cooperated with us!! More Snow

I can't believe it, we got more snow last night and today. And of course we had to get it when we had to travel too. Back to Minnesota

We're going back to Minnesota this weekend so we can move our washer and dryer from Scott's dads to our new house. It is going to be quite the day. Scott has to work, then we have to go do that. It's Still Snowing

Slow week so far!

Computer is working finally!

It's Snowing

Well, we've had a pretty wonderful winter so far, but this weekend is when it's really supposed to start feeling a lot more like our winters here in Iowa. We Got Our House

A nice winter so far!

The weather has been absolutely beautiful outside the past couple of days! It's been nearly 50 degrees. It's been so nice that there's barely any snow on the ground at all. What a great game

I went to the UNI vs Evansville basketball game tonight, and it was a great game. The game was a lot closer than it should have been, but UNI still won so it was a great win. My husband got to go down on the floor during a timeout in the second half to play a game. He had to make a lay up and then ly on his back and try to make a basket, then if he made that he had to make a free throw. Unfortunately he didn't get to the free throw so he only ended up with a T-Shirt. Oh well it still was a good night.
